Customer Review: WORKS GREAT WITH MY MAC!!! AWSOME KEYBOARD AND MOUSE!!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS KEYBOARD AND MOUSE!!!!! I am writing this review after having this keyboard and mouse for about two months. The Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave set works GREAT with my intel based MAC!!!! The keyboard and mouse have the coolest designs!!! The keyboard is really comfortable for typing and navigating on! The mouse is extremely comfortable in my hand and is also very easy to use!

The installation software does not come in the box for Macs but is REALLY EASY to find on Logitech's website!! The only complaint that I have is about the "hot keys." I reprogramed the hot keys (the navigation keys on the top of the keyboard F1 and so forth) but when I tried to use them they would not work. So I contacted Logitech Support Center and found out that the keys cannot remain "HOT" unless you hold down the FN button. I would buy this keyboard and mouse again, even knowing about the hot keys!!!

Other then this minor problem I have absolutely NO COMPLAINTS!!!!! Battery Life is excellent, I have not had to change the batteries yet!!!!! GREAT KEYBOARD AND MOUSE FOR THE PRICE!!!! The logitech USB connector works great and has great reception! I can use the keyboard and mouse halfway across the room and it still has excellent signal!!! I have never had the keyboard miss keys or loose its signal! AWSOME KEYBOARD AND MOUSE WORKS GREAT WITH MAC!!!!!! I absolutely love this keyboard and mouse!!!

Customer Review: so good, I bought two more
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought my original Cordless Wave mouse/keyboard combo well over a year ago for my home machine. When I got sick of having to swap LI batteries in my laser mouse daily at work, I decided to shell out some money myself for one of these at work. At the same time, I bought one as a gift for my computer illiterate mother-in-law. She managed to get rolling with it on her Vista machine, so it's not tricky. It wasn't totally plug-n-play on my XP work box, but running the installer on the CD was all it took.

Battery life was been phenomenal on the set I use at home, which is really why I went with it this time around. I might have changed out the generic batteries once each for the keyboard and mouse, but I really only rememeber changing them in the keyboard. The key placement takes a little getting used to, but I like it now. The large Delete key was nice from the start, but having the F1-F12 keys in banks of 3 instead of 4 took the most getting used to.

As an extra bonus, I'm able to use this with my company's Windows CE 5.0 device. We're testing it in our cars and it's been handy to leave the unit in my trunk, but be able to use the keyboard in the front seat to troubleshoot our software. Errr, not while driving, of course...

In short, I'd recommend this product to anyone. Others in my office will probably be getting them shortly.

Customer Review: Truly Wireless
Summary: 5 Stars

I had the same keyboard for 9 years. It was a nice, solid keyboard until I spilled milk all over it. So we got The Wave for my birthday (in part because our Best Buy didn't have many options).

I've been pleasantly surprised by The Wave. I'd just wanted an ergonomic keyboard in black to replace my ruined antique, but I was pleased to find that it was a wireless item. I'd had a wireless mouse at one point. It had required a strange, truly awkward setup to communicate with the wireless receiver, so I was a little wary of wireless.

However, the receiver for The Wave and its mouse plugs into a USB port at the back of my computer and is quite small. It doesn't require any cords to bring it up to "see" the mouse and keyboard (though it does have optional extensions if needed). You plug it in and forget it exists.

I really do love my Wave keyboard and mouse. I wish the mouse had more than two buttons (I'm a gamer girl), but that's my only real complaint. :) The keyboard and mouse are both comfortable to use and the extra buttons on the keyboard will likely come in handy (there's a calculator button! I love that). Even the wrist rest is comfortable and prevents slipping.

I'd definitely recommend this product. It's extremely convenient and, best of all, wireless means my cats won't chew my cords to pieces.

Customer Review: Wish I'd Had One Sooner
Summary: 5 Stars

Wish I'd had this two years ago when I began the first of two novels. I've never had a more comfortable keyboard under my hands, ever. If you spend a lot of time at the keys, this board is an absolute must. Every key is right where it should be and at the optimal angle for easy reach, minimizing the effects of longterm typing (and I mean for 18-hour stretches). Nice to sometimes put the keyboard in my lap and really kick back. So, bought a second set just for the office. Transmits just fine through desks, books and other assorted office furnishings too.

The mouse is, well, so-so, at least to me. But, then, I was spoiled by their MX Revolution mouse and its phenomenal scrolling. Pity they aren't making that one anymore. This mouse, however, is quite serviceable and almost as comfortable. No ball to clean, ever, and very precise without being too touchy. Doesn't care what it's rolling over - tracks perfectly regardless. The use of regular AA batteries in both the keyboard and mouse is a boon as well, and the battery covers are a snap to get on and off, even without fingernails.

Now, two novels down, five more to go. But, the job's not gonna be nearly as much like work as it was before. I can certainly recommend this product.

Customer Review: I Love this Keyboard!
Summary: 5 Stars

Personally, this keyboard was worth the wait!
Pros: great feel for this touch typist! A firm, tactile feel much like the IBM keyboards of old that I loved so much, only quiet. The wave form is very comfortable under the fingers. The SetPoint software installed on Windows VISTA 32-bit with no problems the first time. It allows for a lot of customization of the F-keys on the keyboard as well as the mouse buttons. I liked several of the function buttoms specifically for Windows Vista, thought they can be reprogrammed for Windows XP or OS-X. The included mouse is an ambidexterous, ergonomic laser mouse for the southpaws out there, good for small and medium sized hands. Did I say I loved this keyboard :-)

Cons: I was slighly disappointed with the mouse from a comfort standpoint, but that is mainly from a personal standpoint. I've been using a Microsoft Intellipoint Explorer for several years and like its larger, tilted stance which was very comfortable for me. I figure I love the Wave keyboard so much that I can always buy a different Logitech mouse if I don't get used to this one. If anyone has a mouse they love and don't mind a wired keyboard, the WAVE can be picked up as a keyboard only for less than $50.00.
