Customer Review: Perfect wireless addtion to an Intel iMac

I purchased the S530 for a 20" Intel iMac about two months ago. The wireless combo is just a touch whiter than the computer color. The silver accents perfectly coordinate with the iMac base. Overall it's a clean, stunning look on the desk with the iMac.
The software update available on the Logitech web site works flawlessly with the new Intel Macs. Like my several previous Logitech keyboards, these are quality components. The S530 offers crisp, lively typing and a solid mouse feel that fits my large hands perfectly. The only negative is pretty minor -- the undersized FKeys take a little getting used to.

I have had my Logitech Cordless desktop for about a month now and I love this product. I'm using it on a 15" Macbook Pro and everything works exactly as it should. What little configuration that needed to be done was quick and took less than five minutes. Aesthetically, it has good action on the keys, they're neither too messy or too stiff. The mouse is comfortable in the hand and, again, everything works just as it should.
I don't know what it was that others were having problems with but my s530 has performed flawlessly, as I have come to expect after a decade of using Logitech products.

I am very pleased with this combination. It worked perfectely right out of the box after installing the software. I especially appreciate the side buttons which open Mail, Safari, etc. The mouse turns itself off after a proper period of inactivity, to save batteries. I use an iMac running the latest version of Tiger (10.4.9). The only thing I can think of as a negative is that the mouse is a little on the large size. I am quite used to that now, however. The keyboard is very quiet and has a nice touch. Amazon service was great as usual.
I would repurchase this combination without hesitation.

While not built like the Apple aluminum keyboard and mighty mouse, this keyboard and mouse set works really well. It won't quite reach across a room (it isn't supposed to) -- so this is not a Mac media center keyboard but they are very reliable and the mouse tracks virtually on every surface. Coming from an Apple Mighty Mouse that would rarely do second mouse button clicks and did not track on all surfaces, I can't say how much of a relief this is! Also, unlike the Apple aluminum Bluetooth keyboard, this is a full keyboard with numeric keypad.
Overall, I am very happy with this set.

i fell in love with the keyboard and the mouse, but then my laptop was stolen (by a maid at the Whyndham hotel in San Jose, CA) along with the receiver for the S 530. After replacing my MacBook Pro, I called Logitech about purchasing a replacement receiver, they said that the receivers were on back order, so they sent me a whole new setup, free of charge.
You have got to love the rare company who's definition of customer service still has nothing to do with the rancher's definition of "Service"
