Second of all, the reviewer from Texas is wrong. As the reviewer from North Brunswick stated, this is a great keyboard and mouse combination. This is the 7th unit I have bought (the first one replaced a Microsoft unit), as the other people in the office keep wanting to "borrow" mine.

Like all new computer products, there is always a small learning curve to learn the nuances of a products. With this product and the software, that curve is smaller.

With have both multimedia and AutoCad departments. This product works with both. Let's review some of the great features.

The mouse. All of us have from a 19 inch to a 23 inch monitor (most are 21 inches). I have asked others about the buttons, flexibility of changing them for their own applications, etc. Everyone had a different take. Even the three guys who use it for AutoCad have the side buttons doing different things... but no one complained about anything. As you know, doing cad drawings require an accurate mouse sensitivity. This mouse is totally acceptable. Everyone likes the rechargeable ability. It is one of the major factors for buying this product.

The Keyboard. A reviewer complained about the keys being hard to using in the dark. Our mutilmedia board has recessed low level lights which allow you to use 'all' the different electronic and manual (pencils for notes) items on the board.
The scroll/tilt wheel on the left is so that you can be doing one thing with the mouse and use your left hand to scroll. It was added for those people who could use them. If you don't use it, fine. But to remove certain keys because you don't use them would penalize those who do different things than you. I am sure that there are hundreds of functions in your word processors that you do not use. Should they take those out as well?
The function keys are great and can be used for a variety of different inputs. They are grouped in sets of four with a space between each set. So if you can count to 4, then you can find them in the dark.

All of the other buttons were used (or not) by people in our group. If you have a requirement, then you have the possibility of finding a button. I only use three of them and they work great.

The Software. We have not had one problem with loosing the custom settings. But then we only use Name-Brand equipment. We have IBM and Dell. With these products you don't end up with software conflicts because of No-Name components. A few people would like a bit more adaptability, but they were happy overall with the software.

This is the first computer related review that I have ever written. The only reason that I wrote it was to offset what I thought was a very opionated review. That review never got to the fact that this is one of the best combos out there. I know that Logitech has updated this combo with the new 300 Series, but this is still a great unit.

For the price that Amazon is selling the unit, it is a very good option.
