Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Logitech Cordless Desktop EX110 (967561-0403)Customer Review: Inexpensive option for your Wii! Summary: 5 Stars
I picked this keyboard up for my Wii since it was the cheapest wireless option I could find. It works amazingly well. Less than 5 minutes after opening the box, I was typing a message to one of my Wii friends!
One thing I would like to point out is this: The included mouse is PS/2 ONLY - not USB with a PS/2 adapter like the keyboard is. My laptop doesn't have a PS/2 port, so the mouse is pretty much useless to me. Also, the keyboard and mouse share a receiver, so you can't use them on two separate systems. This isn't really clear in the description above, so I thought I'd point it out.
So in summary: if you're looking for a cheap wireless keyboard for your Wii (or a computer hooked up to your TV), this is a GREAT option. I'm not a fan of the mouse, but for the price the keyboard more than makes up for it.
*Note: in order to use this keyboard with the Wii you must download the latest system updates. Visit nintendo.com for details*
Customer Review: Right product for the right price Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this product because it was exactly what I needed in the price-range I was looking for (on sale for less than $30)...and it was a Logitech product. It did not disappoint. I use it for my living room media PC, and it does exactly what I need it to do. The wireless sensor has a cord long enough to place it pretty much anywhere on your entertainment center. I have not experienced any problems with the wireless range. I typically have it placed 8 to 10 feet from the sensor but have gone as far as 15 feet away with no loss of function. The keyboard and mouse buttons are more old-school hard-click style rather than the more smooth clicks on more recent products. I wholeheartedly endorse this product if you're a casual user or using your PC to watch streaming media on your tv. For gamers, I'd recommend going a step higher, but this product would still serve your purpose.
Customer Review: Good Combo Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this product for use with an old desktop that I have and it works very well. I love the programmable buttons on the keyboard. Also, the keyboard keys are a little loud, so this probably isn't for a quiet office environment. The mouse has a nice weight to it and works at long distances and on so many surfaces. The receiver is pretty stubborn when trying to tilt it, but it works just as well in any direction as long as it is within 90 degrees of the device(s). Setup is easy, about 2 minutes for me. It is a nice beginning wireless combo.
Update: I have recently bought the Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 4000 and I find it much more comfortable and convenient than this desktop. Overall, if you can get the Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 4000 for less than $40, you should buy that instead.
Customer Review: durable and good deal for that price Summary: 5 Stars
this is the best item i could get for that price. a tool very handy as my laptop gave up on me when i started programming on it..Then i went on to buy it but always having a little doubt, but after using it for more than 5 months I feel that it is a great addition.. For my laptop having Vista i just need to connect it and it works great.. The jet black color goes in sync with any laptop. the battery life for the keyboard and the mouse is good, ... on a whole it is trendy, cool and cordless.. but the only disadvantage is that the keys make a little noise like the desktop keyboards found in computer labs..we can even find that the cursor jumps from from a particular place on the screen some times. but on a whole it is a worthy gadget to own to make your life easy at a very low cost
Customer Review: Logitech For Life Summary: 5 Stars
Logitech is great! I have the comparable Microsoft Wireless Keyboard and mouse. They both work fine at a short range, but the Logitech model works much much better from 10 - 15 feet away. The Microsoft product misses key strokes and mouse movements at that range. This was important to me because my PC is hooked up to my TV... and i use my keyboard from my couch. The Logitech product works like a charm! Don't worry about the reviews saying the mouse seems on the cheap side. It may be a tiny bit smaller than the Microsoft model... but it works much better. What is more important to you? Also I noticed the Microsoft receiver must be put far away from other wires and electronic devices. Its signal is interfered with easily. Logitech model seems much better in that aspect.
