Indeed the controller is incredible for what it does...it allows people like my sister, Ignacious, and Brett to walk right in front of me while I'm playing and they won't trip. It reacts very quickly and seems wired, but after playing with Mr. Torres' three controllers, I have noticed a thumbstick issue. I too play car games (NFS UNDERGROUND!!! Wassup!! It's so money and it don't even know it!) and the wall crashing is a pain...Also, the pad for the thumbstick seems to have worn out quite a bit...YO LOGITECH...where can I get a replacement pad, kid? Being a wireless radio controller i bought it as soon as i saw it. in fact, so far i have three of them, all the features boasted certainly are done well by it. Except one thing which seems to be a recuring theme in the reviews. I too am having problems with the left thumbstick and judging by others insightful reasoning above it only seems logical what they said. i play mainly car games and its most annoying when i scrape a wall unwillingly due to the thumbstick not recentering right. Be warned!! the controller might have a mind of its own!!!
Customer Review: Flawless wireless function, but flaws as a controller

In terms of its wireless functionality, the cordless controller is flawless. There is no lag or any other indication that you are not actually wired to the Xbox.Unfortunately, that quality isn't matched by the controller itself. Although only a bit larger than the S Controller, the cordless controller is much heavier. This is in large part due to the four AA batteries it requires, but it becomes noticeable as you play for a while. For marathon gaming sessions, this is not the controller of choice.
The controller also has some functionality issues. The digital pad is imprecise; frequently you hit left and get left-up, for example. The analog sticks have a little drift in them, too, pulling toward the left even after you center them--this is not a terribly big deal unless you tend to actually release the stick (and the sticks on Microsoft's S Controller tend to pull up in my experience, so it's rather a wash there).
I got this controller so I wouldn't be sitting on the floor playing games and wouldn't have extension cords strung all the way to the couch. For that purpose, it's fine, even with its shortcomings. But the product leaves me with the nagging feeling that it could and should have been a lot better.

I was excited when I purchased this controller a few months ago, dishing out $80 for it. The controller is great and I have never had any problems with communication between the controller and the XBox. The feel of the controller is comfortable and everything is well placed, except for the SELECT and START buttons. Since these aren't used that often, it's ok that they are out of your reach. The main complaint that I have about this product is that the rubber grip on the analog stick will quickly deteriorate with consistent use. I noticed strange black 'shavings' on the controller, and before I knew it the grip was falling off. I've contacted Logitech on this issue, and they told me I would have to send the whole controller back to be replaced. Since this occurred in less than a month (I play a lot of games) I wasn't looking forward to sending in my controller every month to be replaced. At $80, this product would have gotten 1 star. Since the price dropped, (and perhaps they fix the rubber grip wear?) I have given this product 3 stars.Customer Review: Hmmm not as good as I thought!

Ok the controllers wireless functions are superb you really cant tell you are not wired to the console. Something to note if your a hardcore gamer though after only 4 weekends of play the left thumbstick has started to make a weird noise when it is pushed to the right, the stick actually feels really flimsy compared to the left one I was wary about it from the getgo. Another problem is the digital pad stinks if you push up you usually get a diagonal up not very good in a gameplay situation at all.
