My Xbox is a bit further away from my seat than the standard controller cable reaches. I picked up the Logitech wireless controller to use instead. It took a couple minutes to get it working the first time, but after that it's worked flawlessly. I have not had any problems with drift or interference. It is a bit heavier than a regular controller, but not enough to be a problem. The thumbsticks have nice textured grip on them, and all of the buttons high quality. The layout is slightly different than the standard controllers, but not in a bad way.

What the last reviewer is correct, besides the fact the older one is better, heavier (which feels more secure), and larger which is good for people with long fingers and small hands.
Overall either one is great, though. The wireless capability adds incredible ease to the fun of playing and also provides you with a weapon if whoever you're playing with makes you mad enough! I guess for this, the new one would be better since it's cheaper and throwing it at somebody wouldn't be as expensive...

I know the first thing you think of when you see wireless and gaming is latency. There is none. This controller operates flawlessly. I can now sit back on my couch and enjoy my triumphs with Kano in Mortal Kombat, and the Madcat in MechAssault in perfect comfort. No dog to chew the cord. It sits on my coffee table next to the remotes. The only complaint I have is there is no way to run my xbox live headseat on it. I think that this is the best controller that i havae ever used. The controller is better than one with a wire. The only thing that has given me problems is the rumble pack.WHat happens every once in a while is that the controller starts rumbling for about a minute, but hat has only happened once or twice. Other than that this is the best product that I have ever bought from microsoft, other than the XBOX console.Customer Review: This Product is great
