I've had this product for a couple weeks now and it has thus far exceeded my expectations, with only a few minor annoyances.My Current Setup: I currently use this with my 15 inch Macbook pro, a second monitor, two external harddrives, and external keyboard and mouse.
The overall design is simple yet elegantly functional. The top is covered with a soft rubber that not only provides sufficient grip on my machine but also prevents scuffs and scratches. The cable notches that are supposed to organize your cables are pretty much useless with the ability only to tuck away a couple cables. The provide USB hub (4 ports on back and 1 out front) is a much appreciated addition to this product and the included a/c adapter ensures that you can plug in your power hungry devices without a hitch. My only complaint about the A/C adapter provided is the short length of the cord. The inclusion of the "media port (USB)" on the front of the Alto is a sweet addition as well. It provides quick and easy access to a port for USB thumb drives / cameras or whatever your inclined to plug into it. If your looking for a simple stand that elevates your laptop to eye level, you can't beat this one for the price!
