I bought this headset primarily for skype and online games. I had to turn the gain up on the microphone quite high, but it works as you would expect with good voice quality. The sound quality of the headphones is okay- nothing special but works well.
I prefer to use this headset as just a mic, upside-down around my neck which sticks the mic in front of ones mouth perfectly. (The microphone boom is flexible if your proportions are unusual) This allows me wear my nice sennheiser headphones. I find this configuration very comfortable.
If used in the normal position, I find this headset mostly comfortable. The headphones seem to ride lower on my ears than it should, and the plastic head band does annoy the skin behind my ears a little after very prolonged use. It seems like they are meant for people with larger ears. On the whole though they are comfortable. The plastic connecting the headphones is not adjustable.
This headset is stylish and looks about as good as you can hope to look while wearing a headset. It works well, and does what you would expect for a headset of this price.

Bought this item to use w/ yahoo voice, read alot of reviews from several sites on several headsets this I found was best all around between price and functionality. My only real concern was the very consistent report of it being oversized for most user's heads, which it was though it really does not pose that much of an inconvenience even on my tiny head. Another concern were reports of the mic not working though it seems to mostly be user mistakes and mis-handling that are the problem. As far as the it's functionality, I have used for a little over a week and have found it to have great sound for both listening and a great mic, even w/ yahoo's sub-par voip(switching to skype). Very comfortable, in fact instead of removing after calls just leave it on and listen to music while I work(again great sound), and even used with dragon speak software worked flawlessly.I am sure foe more money could find a much better product, but in this price range it was the best my research led me to.Customer Review: Great all purpose headset

I got this headset specifially for my softphone (VoIP) that I need at work. I figued it would be good but the audio quality is excellent and the mic is clear. I especially like the fact that it covers both ears (dual mono) for VoIP. In my cramped, loud, hellish office this is a must.
I figured I would hook my Samsung YP-MT6Z (which RULES) so I could listen to some Rush, Dream Theater, and Godsmack. The audio quality was great again.
I am on calls that last hours. The headset's volume and mic on/off pays here. Click the mic off when you don't need to talk or get a cell phone call.
When I travel, have to bundle it tightly so it will fit in my dinky laptop bag (I really need a new one). Even so, it springs back into shape. Very flexible.
Solid, good quality, cheap, comfortable, and portable. Easy pick.

I just got this headset... this is my 2nd headset from Logitech. I have used many cheap and costly headset like DJ style but no one is close to what this simple design offers. I can wear this headset for several hours and still not hurting my ears.
What I love about this headset
- Long wire.. you can walk and talk :)
- Great sound
- No hurting ears eventhough after several hours of usage.
- Switch for changing volume level
- Switch for mute for Mic
What else you need... its just a headset ... Dont spend too much money on headset ... Go simple.

I already own one of the Logitech headset and in Christmas shopping this year decided to set up family members with web cams and headsets. I have been so happy with this model that I was happy to see it on sale at Amazon and ordered three. I have to confess that one is for me and my laptop. My previous purchase is used by my daughter and as I never get to use it I decided to set up another computer with a headset.
The long cord is especially handy for our desktop set up.
Good value for good product.
