Great Webcam! I am using while I'm at college in Kansas to talk to my parents who are in California via skype. Some times it freezes, but that is because the wireless internet here in dorms is sketchy. Overall, it is a great camera compact and very portable. I have it on the stand just sitting on my desk and sometimes I clip it to my screen so I can walk around and just have more options. I would recommend this camera to anyone who has a laptop and is needing a quality portable camera.Customer Review: great little notebook webcam

I've just had this webcam for a few weeks, but so far it has been excellent. The lens is very sharp, and the audio is quite good. I read somewhere that it didn't work as well with Skype as with Logitech's conferencing website, but it seemed to work just fine with Skype. It is lightweight and has a convenient carrying case. The only drawback I've seen is that the clamp that holds the webcam to the notebook computer is a little funky, and wobbles a bit.

I use this with iChat, which means of course I can't review the included software (at least until I try it on Windows). But it works extremely well with iChat, dealing with the backlighting in my office and providing superior resolution to most built-in webcams.
Audio quality is also fine, and I find the included stand preferable to the clip, since I can actually position the camera alongside the window of the other party, giving natural eye contact.

This is our second webcam. The first one was not working with Windows Vista and gave the laptop a virus! Logitech QuickCam Pro is Very easy to install and it actually works with Windows Vista. The only issue we have is that the sound with skype keeps echoing and repeating itself. Our laptop has a AtholonX2 processor which should not be that much inferior to the Celeron Dual. But I am not a computer person. The camera was easy to install, works great. Love it!!!Customer Review: The Best!

I'm really happy with this webcam ~ it's one of the best I've found for my laptop. Images and sound are clear, and it integrates nicely with Skype, YouTube, email, and other communication or photo/movie programs. I've even made my friends buy one so there's no more annoying jerky movements to see when we get together online! The QuickCam Pro is one of the best webcams you can get in this price range. We chat a lot more online now that we all own one!
