Webcam works well, the clarity is quite good. I have used some of the special features that are included which makes this product quite fun for messing around with. It clips onto my laptop (an Acer 13") fairly well and does stay put although you need to be careful you don't clip it on while holding the top of the webcam as this is where the picture button is located. I can't tell you how many times I've snapped an accidental picture of myself and then had to delete it. I am very pleased with this webcam. It gave a very high quality picture. I did have some issues when using it on Skype but they were no fault of the camera. You have to exit out of other camera software and also this cameras software and let Skype control it. I am using Vista which also gave me problems if I was logged on MSN at the same time I was using Skype. Once I learned this I have not had any problems. My son gave me a Logitech Webcam for christmas which cost $25.00, but I wasn't happy with the reception or picture quality. I went to Amazon.com and saw the Logitech Quickcam Pro for notebooks and read all the information on it and decided to take a chance with it.The picture quality is so terrific and the price is approximately $20 dollars less than other webcams. Got this camera for my oldest son to attach to his laptop. The goal is that he can communicate home from Iraq when an internet connection is available or send us a movie clip. In tests, the camera works great. Picture quality is excellent. With some included software he was also able to modify the picture in many funny ways. I was so impressed with the quality, that I might get another to replace our older Logitech webcam. I bought this camera to use primairily as a skype video link for trip of mine. I travel approx. 75% of time, and i needed something both light, and durable. This camera is great. It has worked flawlessly, and most importantly, it comes with a travel bag, so i dont have to worry (to much) about stuff hurting it in my travel bag. The picture is great (espoecially for the 2.0MP), and the microphone is really good too. I cant think of a bad thing to say at this point!!!! Way to go Logitech.
