Make sure you follow the instructions carefully. As in scanners and printers, ALWAYS INSTALL THE SOFTWARE FIRST!!!! It was easy to follow the instructions, and the website is added benefit. It showed me different things I didn't think capable. All Logitech products are very well made and easily explained. I bought this Webcam for my boyfriend, who has children overseas. He is not very computer literate, but between me and the website, he was up and running in no time at all. Don't be afraid to experiment, it is just about fool-proof. It does not slow down your processing speed, and works in all apsects of Windows. You pay a little bit extra for the product, but as in most Logitech products, it is very worth the price.
Also I am glad I had next day delivery, because it is worth having, if your laptop does or does not have a webcam already installed.

Camera works as advertised - it rocks!
Excellent image quality (sharp and crystal clear). Fast autozoom. Awesome light management - clear and sharp image even in almost complete darkness (only laptop screen light).
Very good grip on the stand that comes with it. Excellent soft pouch (e.g. personally I keep the camera attached to the stand 100% of the time and to prevent it from dust simply cover it with pouch - very convenient).
Works even with slow internet connection. E.g. my parents "enjoy" 256 kbit/s which quickly limits itself to 32.. (yep, Russian province, baby) - they report sharp and clear image.
Overall - guys, all my peripheral devices are from Logitech. It just happened so. They constantly turn out to be the best at what they do.

It's a great little webcam. I was surprised at all the features. Other reviewers have already gone into great detail so I'll tell you what I like: You can use it in widescreen. You can take a picture so easily and quickly. You can record yourself and email it. It has a handy sidebar with the features. The in-line microphone works great. It works great with many other applications including Skype. They have step by step vidoes on how to use all the features. All in all I'm very pleased for the price. You can do just about everything with this webcam. The stand seems heavy enough until you put the webcam on it so I would add a little extra weight to the stand. It comes with a soft bag. It would be better if it were a hard case. Even so I gave it 5 stars as this is a great webcam for the price.Customer Review: Never regret

At the beginning, I personnaly thought it's a bit expensive. Around $70 for a webcam? It sounds too much, doesn't it. However, my friend who specilised in the PC hardware strongly suggested it to me and therefore I decided it to give it a try.
The product is awesome! All the friends who saw me in the new cam gave it excellent compliments.

It seamlessly works with Skype and supports the HD quality video communications.

This device arrived quickly, and installed very easily since I followed the directions and installed the software first, then the hardware! The pictures are clearer and higher resolution than previous QuickCam's I've owned. The built-in mounting clamp works even on the slipery vinyl-coated notebooks, and the stand-alone tower included was an unexpected extra. I especially like the ability of this webcam to "recognize your head" and follow you around. I also had no difficulty setting this up as a surveilance camera on my home network. But the newer notebook computers are coming with built-in cameras, so these add-ons may not be needed much longer.
