This is a great item but so obscure that it just didnt get put into the box with the speakers that they go to. It is a necessary part for those that have normal plugs for their entertainment system. Otherwise those of you that have every imaginable plug for their systems you may not need this. Sometimes this item is hard to find and I have never seen it in a store. But hands down no one beats the deals you can get here.Customer Review: it works

normally i read a lot of reviews to help me to decide if something is worth buying but i never write one so here goes. I have some G500 Creative Labs Gaming 5.1 surround speakers. i switch from PC to MAC but it only has the headphone mini plug. so after a long search and almost thinking i was going to have to buy new speakers, i found this adapter. all i can say is it works and my speakers sound just as good as before.Customer Review: wow

I have an older 19" Sony TV with only a single coaxial cable connection in my bedroom - still has a beautiful picture so I can't bring myself to get a newer one yet. I hooked up a DVD player with an RF modulator, got this little connector to hook up a Logitech 2.1 PC speaker set and it's just awesome. Now I have a nice little stereo TV/DVD set up for very little money! It's not surround sound, but it works for me!Customer Review: SAVE MONEY !!! This amazing little coupler allowed me to take my Logitech X-540 5.1 speaker sytem, generally used for video games and computers, and turn it into a complete surround sound system for my TV. You'll be happy that you only spent a few dollars for this coupler, instead of spending $100's on a surround sound system designed for your multimedia system. You really can't tell the difference!

Customer Review: Using with my PS3 and X-540

I'm using this to get surround sound with my Logitech X-540 and my PS3. Although it's not true Dolby surround sound, it's super cheap as well as the X-540 is. Before I got this, I was using the matrix mode on the X-540, and it's nowhere near as good as having this adapter because the sound isn't forced into all 5 speakers. I highly recommend this to those who don't have the expensive 5.1 systems.
