Customer Review: can't split headphone wire from microphone wire

The microphone-in plug and the audio-out plug are very close together, which pretty much forces you to use the jacks on the back of the PC. I.e. if you like to plug your headphones into your speakers (on your desk) but your mic into somewhere else (like the back of the pc, a few feet away), this set doesn't really facilitate that.
Aside from this small hassle, good set.

I talk to my family through Skype every week. I used to hear my voice from their speaker sent to their microphone back to me. I realized that they heard their voice if I turned the speaker louder. the labtech headset with microphone is pretty good for the price. it's actual functionality is a bit sensitive because if you move a lot, it will cause the other party to hear sounds. i've had to move positions a couple times to get the other person to hear. not perfect, but it does what it's suppose to do.Customer Review: Great

I telecommute so headphones with a microphone are a must. This is the second time I have bought this model from labtech. The first I broke by accident. Anyway, for VoIP and music they work well. Be aware that you can't walk around very much though since they have a short 8' cord.
