I have been quite pleased with the G19 Gaming Keyboard Logitech G19 Gaming Keyboard. I have been using it for about three weeks now. I have the Logitech G13 Advanced Gameboard and the Logitech G9 Laser Mouse plugged into the two on board USB slots.
For the price, Logitech has put quite a lot of features into this keyboard.
The G19 has profiles that can be set up for different games, selected via the keyboard. LEDS light up the keys in whatever color you want, selected by the GP software.
An adjustable LCD panel sits at the top center of the keyboard. You can monitor system performance, watch you tube videos, use it for game stats, and more.
As I mentioned earlier the keyboard has two USB 2.0 slots that get its power from an AC connection. Because I am using this keyboard with my LCD HDTV setup I like the fact that I can use one USB cable to connect three devices to the PC.
The touch and feel of the keys is very comfortable. Long time use does not tire my fingers.
I have the keyboard running on my gaming PC which has Windows 7 RC installed without any problems. Logitech has the new drivers and software for download.
I only have two small issues with this keyboard, 1. there is not jack for headphones or mic and 2. the wrist rest is not at all comfortable, just a piece of plastic.
All in all, I rate this keyboard 5 stars for innovation, quality and performance.

I upgraded from a 2nd generaton G15. Besides doubling up on G-Keys, the standard functions of the keyboard are great. On to the features:
Screen:
The Screen has great quality, easily readable font, and good colors. The cons for this screen is the way to operate it. On mine, pressing the down arrow seems to hit the 'OK' button instead, making it a bit more difficult to select things. Youtube videos play in great quality, but the framerate tends to be off. Also, the copy link to play youtube videos seems to be only want to work when it feels like it.
Keys(and more):
G Keys are easy to set up, and you double up from a G15. The MR feature to store quick macros is great for simpler macros, but to do the complex ones you need to use the software. Keystrokes are quiet and smooth. The Windows turn off switch is great for when playing games. The onboard Play/Pause/Stop/Skip keys are nice for when you don't have your media player up, as well as the mute/volume button/roller. You can change the backlight of your keys to any color in the spectrum, however, the profile choose and LCD screen keys remain orange. There is also a switch to turn off the keys and LCD screen if you wish.
Accessories:
Two 2.0 USB Ports and wire runners under the keyboard. No room to complain here.
That's it for the hardware, now onto the software:
The software if you aren't used to requires some trial and error, but otherwise relatively easy to use. You also use the software to change the color of the backlight keys. With all the features, it's better for you to play with it than me try to explain it.
All in all, if you are a hardcore gamer or just like your toys, this keyboard is wonderful. The macro keys make things much more simplistic, and the LCD screen has a ton of different functions.

The Logitech G19 keyboard is perfect for 1: Serious gamers 2: Serious Geeks or 3: Seriously rich people who have nothing better to do with $200.
There is no instruction manual included with the G19, everything you need to know is included in the software, including a video guide to get you started.
Comes with a wrist rest that can be attached if desired, but it is made of hard plastic and is therefore not comfortable and of little use.
The following is an outline of the pros and cons I have found while using the G19.
Pros:
-The backlit keys are completely customizable. You can choose any shade of any color including white.
-Awesome LCD with many applets and features including: CPU/RAM monitor, clock, RSS newsfeeds, Youtube feed for viewing Youtube videos,picture slideshow, and video player. Also works with supported games giving you in-game info.
-12 G keys each capable of storing 3 different functions acessed by the M keys.
-Media controls (Play/pause, stop, next, back) mute button and volume roll wheel.
-Windows key disabler switch which is standard on the G series keyboards.
-2 USB ports on the back of the G19 allow you to plug in and power any USB devices you want.
-Up to 5 keys can be pressed down at the same time and still register.
Cons:
-Needs to be plugged into both a USB port and a outlet. Extra power is needed of course for the LCD panel.
-What, you expected there to be more cons?
Conclusion:
Overall it is a wonderful keyboard that comes equipped with a not-so-wonderful price. Is it worth the dough? You be the judge.

This is an awesome keyboard and I think all others have already done a good job point out it's features and what it is capable of.
However one thing that should be mentioned that is with all keyboards there can be manufacturing issues, but Amazon can lay fears to rest.
My keyboard was shipped and many of the keys did not work. I had it on a Vista system, so I conneced it to my wife's XP system to ensure it was not an OS or driver issue and it was not. But with Amazon one click, fill out an online form and a new one was on it's way immediatly. When that one came there were no issues. I definitely praise Amazon's hassle free replacements and returns.
It was unfortunate that the first keyboard had issues, but I do have several friends that have gotten this keyboard with no issues.
Maybe some will say I am too unforgiving to the fact that there was a manufacturing issue. But those things do happen and Logitech has a very good reputation and I will stand by them and with Amazon having my back when these things happen its all good.
I still rate this a 5 because of the features and ease of use.
I had the original G15 and unlike others I actually prefer the smaller footprint at teh expense of some of the G keys. Eighteen keys X 3 modes (54 macros) if the G15 is more than what most people need and the 12 X 3 modes is more than sufficuent for my needs as well as many others. also the fact you can change the back lihgt color based on mode is very helpful when switching modes very fast in a game. There is no guessing or accidentally thinking you are in a different mode for the macros.

I got my G19 earlier today and I already love it. It replaced my G15 which I had purchased earlier in the week and plan on returning. The built in LCD display gives useful and convenient information while playing games such as Battlefield Bad Company 2. It also plays videos from your computer and youtube. My only problem was that it doesn't tell you you have to have the latest version of macromedia flash player installed on internet explorer, no other browser is sufficient (i use firefox and had the lateset version of flash on that, but the display needs it installed on internet explorer, once it's installed you can continue to use your browser of choice). To stream videos from your HDD you need to have the latest version of the codecs available. I used CCCP (just google CCCP and codecs and you'll find it) and ALL my avi's wmv's mp4's play with excellent quality and the sound plays through your current speakers without disrupting anything at all.
The macros are easy to create and you have plenty per profile, the media controls are well designed and work perfectly.
The G19 is the truly the best gaming keyboard available today.
