Purchased this to speed up my wireless network reception. I get free wireless from my condo community. Reception has been spotty at best. I installed the Ultra range plus, rebooted my computer and it works great. thought it was a bit costly but since I get free internet service, what can I say. Linksys by Cisco WUSB600N Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Network Adapter is a great buy for the right guy.
You might have to up date a few things to get it working great but, this does not change it from being
a great product. I had to up date my firmware for my router and the USB chip but, after that it worked fine.

I was hesitate to buy this item with all the negative reviews, but I was desperate. My wireless G adapter wouldn't work with my new computer. Ordered this. Received it overnight. This product is a USB receiver for N dual band systems, and it is tethered therefore it can be placed in a better position for signal strength and works so much better than if I had to just plug it into a USB Port.
