my computer: dell XPS Windows XP to Vista home premium conversion, 32bit OS (see: control panel-->System to check if you have 32 vs 64 bit). install program runs almost to completion, then crashes. however, the necessary files are installed. then go to Vista Network & Sharing Center, click on "Wireless networks are available," and you are connected. it takes less than 5 minutes from opening the box to having an active wireless connection on your computer. very easy. works without problems.Customer Review: Wireless N Router & adapter

Linksys WRT160N Ultra RangePlus Wireless-N Broadband Router Very easy to hook up only problem I had was I was trying to run it by the product. Kept losing connection. Then finally windows message came on would you like windows to control. So since then no problems. I have router on one desktop and the adapterr on the other PC. I got this for my HTPC which im also using to bridge my internet connection to my xbox. I just stuck the usb adapter in my Windows 7 32bit and it immediately recognized the adapter. As always i warn every to steer away from using the software included it just complicates the installation. Once it recognized the adapter i found my wireless network connected and entered my passphase and it worked immediately. Took just a couple minutes.Customer Review: Works just as advertised

If you have a 5Ghz router you may find that some of your computers do not come with the card to receive on this frequency. This adapter takes care of that problem. The adapter is easy to install. Plus, it comes with a wired base that connects to the desktop. This base allows you to easily move the adapter as needed to capture a good signal. I bought this adapter for my PC with the intention that I will be upgrading my router to on that is simultanious dual band wireless-N. Currently I am connecting to a wireless-g router and the performance has worked great. I don't get any dropped connections. The installation was easy. I have always believed in PCI cards, but this USB type adapter works just as well! I would recommend this product to anyone.
