This product installed flawlessly in my emachines PC with a Windows XP/SP3 OS. I bought this almost 6 months back and this is really excellent. For some reason, my LAN card got corrupted and I couldnt hook up my laptop with the network. I was thinking whether I needed to buy a new laptop.. But this one saved me on a whole lot of money. And still working perfectly fine. I had just installed a dual-boot (XP and Vista) in my new computer and could not get my ethernet to operate in the XP mode. I installed all the drivers I could find and it would only work in Vista. Linksys products, including this USB adapter, are quite good. It arrived. It plugged in. It worked. Getting it recognized by my home network was a breeze. I absolutley love it! My HP laptop had just gone past warranty when the wireless adapter inside the laptop sh!% the bed! I ordered the Cisco Wireless adapter and in about 10 minutes or less I was ready to go anywhere I want!!!
