Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Cisco-Linksys WUSB54G Wireless-G USB AdapterCustomer Review: Easy wireless! Summary: 5 Stars
This wireless adapter is a wonderful little device. All you have to do is plug it into a USB port, pop the cd into the drive and away you go... wireless and connected!!! I was pleasently surprised because I was not using a router of the same brand and everything worked anyway. Linksys WUSB54G Wireless-G USB Adapter
Customer Review: Fast Service! Item just as described! Summary: 5 Stars
The item I ordered (a Linksys Wireless Adapter) was at my front door in no time! I couldn't believe it! It was described as an item in great shape- and that's how it was. It was packaged in its original box with all of the original hardware and support material. I can't say how nice it is to be able to order something that is really needed and have it arrive promptly... and the money saved is fantastic!
Customer Review: easy to install Summary: 5 Stars
This took about 10 minutes to install, and only involved:
1) Running the CD
2) Plugging in the Adapter
3) Clicking on "select" when it found my wireless access point
I have an older computer, and didn't have an open slot for a card. This was a very easy way for me to get this machine using my cable modem without having to run wires through the wall.
Customer Review: Works Great Summary: 5 Stars
I replaced my kids' PC, and was surpised to find that the new PC does not have a PCI slot! So I was unable to use the internal wireless adapter that I used in the old PC. As it turns out, the signal strength is much better with this adapter, since it has a long cord, and you can move the antenna into a more favorable position. It was easy to install, and it has worked flawlessly.
Customer Review: Linksys Wireless Adapter Summary: 5 Stars
I had an older version of a linksys network adapter. It was a wireless B, and only had a max of 11mps. This is a wireless G which receives 54 mps. It's made a big difference for me, pages load much faster and usually do not stall. It works easily with my windows xp. It's backwards compadible with the B signals from a modem. It's definetly a nice upgrade if you have an older adapter.
