Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Cisco-Linksys WUSB54G Wireless-G USB AdapterCustomer Review: Won't support MSN TV 2 Internet & Media Player Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this wireless network adapter on a whim...I was hoping it would support my wife's MSN TV 2 Internet & Media Player. Unfortunately, it didn't so I sold it off as I didn't have any other use for the device. (My Compaq R4000 notebook has built-in wireless; so it would be of no benefit there.)
The product is very petite and appears to be a decent product. I suspect that it would work well connecting any PC or notebook with USB support to a wireless network.
Customer Review: Performs exactly as it should Summary: 5 Stars
I got this wireless adapter a long time ago. It is only supposed to connect wirelessly at a speed up to 11mbs and it does that perfectly; no problems. However, it is not as fast as ones that wil connect as higher speeds. If your system will allow it, buy one for the highest spped you can tolerate, of course. I highly recommend a LINKSYS adapter and other Linksys products. They are the most reliable products at there for what they do. I should get a faster adapter myself.

Linksys WUSB54G Wireless-G USB Adapter
I like it that the usb connects to the back of my laptop and I set it on the table at the restaurant. I don't have to deal with the pci slot for a pc card. The driver was easy to install and I didn't have to call tech support to get it running, whereas I did have a card but it was difficult to run. I gave it a 5 star.
Customer Review: Working Great! Summary: 5 Stars
Purchased this wireless adapter same time I ordered the Linksys wireless router around middle of Sept. '04. I just plugged it in and started using it. At first the signal strength was 2 to 3 bars and I wanted better so I bought an extension cable from Radio Shack and relocated the adapter on the same floor as the router inside a closet. Now the signal is full strength and the data flow is at its maxium. Since installed, haven't had any issues with it at all.
Customer Review: No Problems Summary: 5 Stars
Had no problems whatsoever hooking this adapter up and tapping into my home network. Currently have a Microsoft router, linksys vonage phone adapter, and a generic usb adapter. I was up and running with this adapter in 10 minutes tops. The router is upstairs and the computer with this adapter is downstairs and across the house and I have good-very good reception at all times. Couldn't be happier with what I paid (less than 20 bucks shipped on Amazon!)
