I purchased this to add to my 'mobile command center' as I travel domestically and internationally quite a bit. It makes it much more convenient to set this up in a hotel room and not have to be wired to anything - of course, my laptop lasts a good 6 hours on batteries and has internal wireless card, but even with my old laptop which was quite the opposite I would have found this very convenient.
I found the interface as easy to use as the rest of the Linksys products that I own and I was able to set it up for WPA2, one IP address, and MAC filter for only my computer. It also doesn't seem to have a range much beyond one room, which is great for security in my opinion.
I also really like the fact that there is no wall wart for me to lug around and it comes with a handy case and very nice 'flat' (not round) LAN cable that rolls up neatly in the case.
The only thing that keeps me from giving it a full five stars is the location of the reset button. It's very easy to reset the router to factory defaults while plugging the unit in, so I suggest keeping a text file of all your security settings handy on your laptop, you'll probably need it at least once.
I've been traveling with this unit since the beginning of 2007. I've made one extended trip to China with it and half a dozen trips in the U.S. with it and I'd recommend it.
