Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Cisco-Linksys WRT600N Linksys Ultra RangePlus Dual-Band Wireless-N Gigabit Router with Storage LinkCustomer Review: Monster router Summary: 5 Stars
Really a sturdy monster dual band-dual radio router, ABGN signals, three antennas, two different radios!
As soon as i got it i flashed with DD-WRT firmware and now is a Formula 1 machine, you can raise the Tx on each radio independetely, choose N only or mixed, same with G, B or A in 2.5 Ghz or in 5 Ghz, incredible radio tunning up for each enviroment, great range and extremelly fast downloads and capable for more than 50 megas internet. Has a USB port where i plugged a flash drive, not vey easy to make it work but googling a bit was done. Never had a reliability issue with it, never lost signal.
Customer Review: EXCEPTIONAL! I just bought a 2nd one. Summary: 5 Stars
I bought my first WRT600N six months ago for my home office. I work in I.T. field from my home and cannot afford to be down or have network performance issues. The setup is very easy and I have no problems running small network with another 8-port gigabyte switch, four computers, three IP telephones, and a networked printer. VPN pass-through works without a hitch to corporate network. It never has failed even when my kids decide to run there networking demanding games on three of these computers. I am so pleased, I have decided to buy another WRT600N for cottage. I can highly recommend this router.
Customer Review: Works Great And Is Secure Summary: 5 Stars
After setting this up with Comcast cable it worked just fine with 11 computers. It did take some time and Linksys/Cisco provides very good help and documentation. I had to replace my old router since Insightbb changed to Comcast, changing equipment. Three of these 11 computers are laptops; a Windows XP laptop works with wireless. At this point I have never gotten the two Vista laptops to work with wireless, they are working with direct cable input. Since there only 4 ports in the WRT600n I am also using 3 Linksys 10/100 switches.
Customer Review: Best of both worlds Summary: 5 Stars
This router allow me to run the wireless N and the older G protocols at the same time. The setup was pretty easy, although the setup CD did not run properly. One call to the Linksys help line got things working quickly. Now I can use the faster, more secure N system with my new laptop but still allow my older equipment to connect with the older protocol. No problems with any of the equipment, easy setup. Good value.
Customer Review: Linksys SUPER Router WRT600N Summary: 5 Stars
I've had this router for about a month now. It replaced a low cost G Router that constantly lost connection with our DSL Modem. So far, the WRT600N has been rock-solid, never losing its connection to the modem. Even though we haven't invested in the N network cards for our laptops, we're getting great connections throughout our 3700 Sq Ft house. It's not cheap, but so far, it's worth every penny.
