I bought this card because it was VISTA tested, and sure enough it works great. It took me about 10 min to get it sorted out. The installation directions are straight forward, but are pointless. I allowed VISTA to do its 'thing.' The signal is not at full strength, but I can download and surf the web still!!! Why Settle for anything less (all other brands)
Anyone else probably thinks just because he or she installed a hard drive one time they think they are a computer tech. But have no business writing reviews based on one installation.

Ordered the PCI card for a desktop. Works beautifully and lets me have all my computers on a wireless network. Be sure to read the instructions. I installed the card first and then read them which is a mistake. The software has to be run first before installing the card itself. Installed with no difficulty. Recognized quickly, connects right away. Much less quirky than other WiFi cards that I have used. But I installed it on a new Dell; older machines may cause some of the problems that others keep citing.
Watch out--these new machines have fewer PCI slots!

It works. What else can I say. It took about 15 minutes to install and a reboot. Just follow the directions and it should work fine. It detected my network and I was on the network and the internet in seconds. Speeds are fairly good, I can move 100's of megabytes over in a couple seconds.
