I have read many reviews discussing the difficulty in setting this adapter up. I had to try about 10 times before I got it working, but I did something different than the quick start guide, it said plug it into your pc first to configure it (I could never get my network to recognize the game adapter). Well, thats the part I tried 10 times. Then I plugged the adapter directly into my Belkin Wireless router, it detected the adapter, configured it and I was good to go. I have had no problem while playing several PS2 games online (madden2004 and nba live2004)Customer Review: Whats all the fuss about?

I was sort of reluctant to buy this product, based on all the poor reviews here at amazon.com. I bought it anyways, mostly because its my only option to be able to play online. When i got it, i was really wondering where everybody was having all the trouble. It was one of the easiest setups i have done to be completely honest with you, and it works like a charm. Take my word for it, and i am by no means a computer genious. It comes with a startup disc that walks you through every possible step. Simple as that! I've read the networking nightmare stories on other reviews of this product and I have to say that I didn't have any of that. If you set up the wireless network in your own house, you should know what has to be done. In fact, for WEP networks, Linksys even lets you put in the passphrase and it will generate the key if you don't want to type in a long string of characters. Once I configured this on a PC (which took < 5 minutes), I just had to configure the ISP from the setup disc of the PS2 and my son was online in no time.Customer Review: Works Great on XBox Live

My son and I game alot and use the Linksys WGA54G Wireless-G Gaming Adapter to get our DSL conection into the living room wirelessly, It works great with no lag time at all, all game work flawlessly. There have been one or two incedents where my wife or I will be on the computer with several high bandwith web-pages open at the same time and my son said he noticed some lagging. Nothing significant. Highly recommended for anyone looking to make there gaming expierence go wireless.

I absolutely love this product. I had no problems installing it. I took out of the box, put in the cd, followed the directions and it was running in a matter of minutes. I have had it up and running for a week now and have never had problems with it. I use this in my bedroom which is located on the second floor and my Linksys router is all the way down in the basement, and I still get an excellent connection. I don't know if it makes a difference having all linksys products (it shouldn't).
