Honestly, i dont know why people have complained that much about the setup on this product. It took me less than 5 minutes to configure it to my wireless network ( which has wep encryption and everything). all you really need to do is follow the instructions given with the device and you should have no problems at all. It works exactly like it says it does, and could not have been an easier set up at all.
Only downside to this product is that Fry's sells it at exactly the same price, so if you are looking for one... go to Fry's, unless you like paying the same price and waiting a week for it. up to you.

This product has received far too many negative reviews claiming that it's difficult to set up. In truth, you should only have a problem setting this up if you are A) Illiterate, or b) Incompetent. It comes with a handy setup guide (which fits onto a single 8x11 sheet of paper) and a setup CD. Just plug the adapter into your router, run the setup CD, and then plug the adapter into your console. 5 minutes later and my XBox is running at full speed, 128 bit security, strong signal, no drops, no headaches at all. When I bought this for my Xbox Live setup, it worked fine. I followed the setup on the PC (you have to configure it on your PC before connecting to console) and started to play. At first, the signal strength was very weak, and would drop out every five minutes. Then, I moved the console closer to the router and elevated it. It worked great!
My only complaint is that the range for this adapter is kind of short. Other than that, it works great. It will work for any of the three major consoles.
Yes, GameCube does have online games.

The Wireless-G (Linksys WGA54G) game adapter was easy to setup and worked perfectly. I wanted a wireless connection for my new Samsung Blu-Ray dvd player so I could download from Netflix. The ether net cable strung across the living room and up the stairs was just not suitable to my wife. The prospect of properly wiring the Blu-Ray in this old farm house was daunting. A call to Linksys led me to the WGA54G. This product worked perfectly! I've watched my first Netflix Instant movie using the device and notice no difference when compare with hard-wired cable.Customer Review: great product

this is a great product! i bought mine for my ps2 to play in my room and i got it set up in seconds. i also us it on my computer and again in seconds i was on the web. i did not even have download the disk! i dont know if that was cuz i have an old computer but i dont think so. if you are going to be playing on a game system and you are trying to conect online to a wireles conection with a code or WEP encryption on it, all you do is download the disk and edit the settings inside ( enter in your code). then you plug it in and it will connect! Great Product!
