I got this card to install in my new HTPC so I wouldn't need to run a network cable all the way into the living room. Loaded Windows 7 Home Premium and never had to install the software for the card - it saw it right away and connected to my Linksys wireless router which is located in the master bedroom. Gets a great signal too. I've been streaming movies to the PC over the internet and had no degradation or loss of signal.
