This Lap Desk is large enough to accommodate my 17" laptop, with room to spare. Since I work from home almost 100% of the time and sit in a recliner, this has been a real nice addition.
The padding is comfortable and provides insulation from the hot air being blown from the laptop's cooling fan.
The large surface area has indentations for holding pencils/pens and clip for hold down papers, etc. This is more useful when using the Lap Desk without the laptop.
The handle is also useful for moving it about, which is nice since this Lap Desk is good for use by passengers in the car.
The only issue is that it does tend to warp fairly easily when any weight is applied.
Overall, this is a fairly inexpensive Lap Desk that is better than expected - Recommended!

I have only had this product a couple of weeks now. I bought it for the purpose of using as a lap desk for my laptop. Laptop fits fine on it. I can't comment or review on its durability yet. Just note, that the cushioning on the bottom does not cover the whole side. There is cushioning on the top and bottom of the reverse side, none in the middle part. Other than that, I have no complaints about the product. It arrived promptly and wrapped in original packaging.Customer Review: Good product for the price

I bought 2 of these lapdesks as Christmas gifts for teachers who bring work home. the clipboard feature struck me as very useful for keeping papers in place. It can also be used for writing, reading, and using a laptop. The teachers were quite pleased with this gift. It is durable and practical, and while not as "pretty" as some types made of wood, it is a good product for the price.Customer Review: Lightweight and large

I like that this lapdesk is lighter than most, and the padding is more than adequate for my large laptop. Other reviewers had noted that the plastic top is not very rigid, and I agree with that, but I don't think it compromises the computer fan or heat dissipation in any great fashion. It is perfect for my husband to use to do puzzles or write memos while watching TV. He also used it to hold a plate of food. The only issue is that one of the plastic grips keeps falling off, but it isn't vital.
