I bought this to hook up to my Mac Mini and it is running as my time machine backup and the iTunes server. Works extremely well and because it looks cool you don't have to hide it under the desk. This drive was quick and simple to setup. I don't use the software supplied because I have another program and I don't want the complete drive. I size is perfect for my firebox. After a quick drive sink back to the firebox it goes. I will buy another when needed.Customer Review: Very Fast

I have an older LaCie which I bought several years ago but wanted an extra hard drive for backups so I bought this. My older LaCie is also USB 2.0 but this new one is at least twice as fast and that's without using the Boost feature. I highly recommend this drive.Customer Review: easy fast

I got the drive about a month ago and it was truely plug and play, no hassles. Gobs of space and quick for backup etc... Very cool looking drive. I haven't used the free on line backup yet but will get that going soon.
Great value and no headaches so far.
