Customer Review: Easy and effortless as long as you don't uninstall it !

I'm not exactly a technical person, so I wasn't thrilled at having to buy an external cd burner for a class. The setup for this was easy. I just installed the Roxio software. Connected the cables and put the plug in, and I was already working. The cd burning process took no more than a couple minutes. All computer hardware should work like this!
2010 UPDATE: Buyer should be aware that this burner and the software that comes with it will be a real $%#@! to completely uninstall from your computer. Worse, after uninstalling it, it'll delete your E drive and prevent it from working when you pop a cd or dvd into the drive. I was lucky enough to find a patch on Microsoft to fix this problem, but it appears that Lightscribe came back and can't be completely removed without messing up something else. So, in summary, it's best to just keep the dvd burner software without uninstalling it, if you have to purchase this.
