Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Logitech V220 Cordless Optical Mouse for Notebooks (Dark Silver)Customer Review: Logitech earned my brand loyalty with this mouse Summary: 5 Stars
I don't usually feel any sort of brand loyalty, but here's a little story: I had a v220 mouse that had been used daily, dropped, abused, etc. It was well over 2 years old, and started to act a bit wonky (buttons getting weird). I emailed Logitech asking for disassembly and cleaning instructions. They wrote back asking for the serial number. I replied, and they kindly insisted that I send the unit back for a free replacement. I said that it was past the warranty, and the person with whom I'd been corresponding said it didn't matter.
So, after more than two years, I got a brand new mouse and, get this: Logitech paid for shipping both ways! Needless to say, I since have bought more from this manufacturer, including a 2.1 speaker system, wireless desktop, and another v220. That's the way you earn my brand loyalty!
Customer Review: Pocket mouse Summary: 5 Stars
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
The Logitech V220 cordless optical mouse is a surprisingly comfortable thing to use, considering how tiny it is. It's about the size of a deck of cards, and nicely shaped to fit the hand. I also like that the drivers seem to be carried on the included thumb drive -- there was no installation disk to mess with when I plugged it in for the first time. The thumb drive slides onto the bottom of the mouse for travel, which also trips a really ingenious little on/off switch, so your battery isn't depleted. My husband (who has bigger hands than I do) also likes it!
Customer Review: Absolute best cordless mouse I've ever owned! Summary: 5 Stars
Over the years I have used at least 4 or 5 different types of cordless mouses for laptops and I can honestly say that the Logitech V220 is the best of the lot, far superior to similar products from Microsoft. It has an on/off switch which surprisingly is lacking on some other models(personally i don't like using the USB receiver to turn my mouse off). Since I can easily turn off the mouse I get extremely long battery life out of the V220. Even more impressive to me is the fact that this little mouse functions on many more surfaces/textures than other mice I have used. I've strayed a couple times but always find myself coming back to this mouse. The one i have is two years old and still going strong under heavy use. My only wish is that someday Logitech releases a lower profile version.
Customer Review: decent Summary: 5 Stars
i got this to replace my V200...and the only reason i needed to replace that one is because the reciever is in room 211 at the days in off exit 394 on 40 west in TN...haha...either way...i dont like the 220 quite as much because they made it a good bit smaller and i have a pretty big hand... on the other hand...it is very comfortable to hold and the feature i love the most is that instead of the reciever clicking or snapping into place for travel...it actually slides into the bottom of the mouse so that it wont just come off from something brushing against it in your bag...overall i say a great mouse
edit: i forgot to mention...the greatest feature with this mouse is the added on/off switch...that way when you're not using your mouse you can turn it off to save battery power
Customer Review: So far so good Summary: 5 Stars
As the title says so far so good...had a minor problem in the beginning - really minor, the mouse was acting a little crazy the pointer kept sticking but once I took out the USB and put it back in that problem was solved. Haven't had a problem with it since *no jinx*. I use it pretty frequently and my battery is still "good" so I'd say the battery life is reliable. I've been using it for almost a month now. Love the right click left click and I like that u can change what the features on the mouse itself can do (like what the left scroll does and what the right scroll does - I have it set for volume down and volume up). You have to download the software from the Logitech site to set up those features. All in all I like it, just what I needed :)
