I've used these for about 9 months and have been very pleased. ALL NiMH rechargeable batteries loose their charge quickly compared to alkaline or Eneloops, and these are no exception. However, these seem to provide plenty of power even when partially drained. Since NiMH AA batteries are less than the 1.5 Volts that alkaline batteries maintain for a long time, don't plan to use NiMH in devices which are critical to battery voltage. For those devices which can get away with 1.4v, 1.3v, or even 1.2v you can use NiMH.
I've drained and charged these with the LaCrosse charger, which can tell me exactly how much energy gets stored during the charge. I've been able to put between 2700 and 2800 mAh in each after a full drain in a flashlight. In my opinion, these rank amongst the best NiMH you can buy.
