I bought this as a backup for a 9 day trip and used it in my Canon SD1000. I alternated between this and the Canon battery from day to day and found each lasted all day with the numerous number of pictures and videos I took and reviewed each day. I'm very pleased with the Lenmar DLC4L battery and highly recommend it. It did need to be charged upon arrival, but that was no problem. I purchased this battery as a spare for my SD1100IS, and have taken it on a dive vacation using the camera and an underwater housing for scuba diving pics. Underwater photography involves heavy use of the LCD monitor and flash while underwater. The battery easily lasted through each two-tank dive outing plus some picture reviews on the boat, charged right up afterwards, and was ready to go for the next outing.Customer Review: Works For Me

This product works well in my Canon 1100 IS digital elph camera. The price is amazing and the capability, as far as I can tell, is identical to the Canon battery which costs up to six times more. I'm thinking about buying another one so I can have a third battery around in case I forget to charge the backup--which I've done more than once! Just purchased another one today. I have not noticed any difference at all between this and the OEM battery that came with my Canon SD1000. Both batteries last very long. They both work perfectly well and are compatible with the charger that came with the camera. Moreover, they charge in about the same amount of time (1.5 hrs). I bought this battery as a backup to the canon battery that came with my SD-1000. I can take just as many pictures and videos using this battery as I can with the Canon. I highly recommend you pick one of these batteries up! The only thing I cannot speak to is the life span of the battery as I have had it only a month or two. I have charged it several times with no issues.
