Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Koss SPARKPLUG - Stereo In Ear Ear PlugsCustomer Review: Just what I was looking for! Summary: 5 Stars
I have big ears, but apparently the holes in my ears are small. All earbuds pop out of them with the smallest tug, or with no tug at all.
I've only had them for about a week, but they are SO worth the low price I paid (and I would gladly pay double). They sound pretty good (you can't expect Bose-quality out of $15 headphones, people), but the best part about them is ABSOLUTELY the earplug-like fit. I LOVE the Sparkplugs! These are the best fitting headphones I've ever used. I like the SkullCandy earbuds as well, but these are priced better and don't give me that awful ear-popping feeling when I take them out.
I haven't had them for long, but even if they last me three months, they are SO worth it. Great job, Koss!
Customer Review: Awesome! Summary: 5 Stars
I read the first review on these headphones and I must say that man was dead on. I even listened to a low quality MP3 and these things handled very well. Extremely easy to put in my ear and cancels most, if not all noise surrounding me. Sounds are even better than the Seinhesser over ear set I have for gaming.
I bought these on sale on amazon for 8.88 shipped to replace a pair of ~$45 apple earbud set. The left ones died on my apple ones, plus i hate how hard it was to fit the earbud into my ear. This definately was a major upgrade at a fraction of the price.
Oh ya and if you like songs with bass...id HIGHLY suggest these!!
Great product and great price!
Customer Review: Great Bass and Sound Imaging Summary: 5 Stars
For the price, these are really excellent earbuds. Once you get used to the foam cushions that expand in your ear and create a sound seal, they're quite comfortable.
The imaging is something I noticed while listening to "A Day in the Life". I'd never noticed beore how Lennon's voice, which has heavy echo on it, would echo from the right channel to the middle until I was using these buds. To check this, I tried other headsets I use and I noticed it there but not as distinctly.
These buds really deliver a deep bass sound and the man flaw is that sometimes that bass sound can be overwhelming. The solution I used was to switch the eq on my iPod to Jazz for heavy bass tunes.
Customer Review: Great deal! Summary: 5 Stars
These headphones limit the external sound really well. I bought them because I found myself needing to turn the volume on my iPod up very high when riding the train to and from work. With these headphones, I can hear the music at about 40-50% less volume. I think the sound quality is better than the stock iPod headphones too. These are a great buy for the money. They limit sound, but not too much, and sound great. The only negative I can say is that they can be a little tricky to position at first, and in my ears, they might not stay in very well while jogging or other high impact activity. But I can't say for sure. But just walking around and sitting they stay in just fine.
Customer Review: Finally, earbuds without that "tinny" sound Summary: 5 Stars
I have searched long and hard for a pair of earbuds that don't make music sound like it's being played out of a tin can. For a year I have purchased and return many pairs.
If you are annoyed by earplugs, then these may not be for you because they are inserted into your ear just like earplugs. The black "plug" is very pliable. I actually have small canals and these are comfortable to me. This feature also results in greater volume and noise reduction.
Lastly, these stay on (or rather in) better than regular earbuds. When moving around, standard earbuds frequently fall out or get knocked off. This still happens, but to a much lesser degree.
