I purchsed these after the dogs decided to make a snack out of my iPod ear buds. Not wanting to spend the money to get a new pair, I decided to try a different brand and see if I could get some quality sound out of a smaller price tag. Man, was I glad I happened upon these little wonders.
The foam cushion is a great idea and it isolates sound nicely, I have been able to listen to my iPod, computer, or other media device on a lower volume setting due to the fact that they are so great at isolating the outside noises...this, in turn, allows one to pick up more of the music or audio that you are listening to.
They were a little uncomfortable the first few days that I wore them, but I attribute this to my ears needing to adjust to them versus the other types of buds that I am used to using.
Great sound, great price, great product!

You really get more than what you pay for. Although I had to do a little extra work to get them right, and yet they are a little too big for my ears, but for that price, my God!!!
First off, you have to glue the earbuds with crazy glue, because they come off really easy, second they don't come with a clip to hold the wire, but most headphones don't have that either.
It takes a few seconds longer to to adjust to ear depending how you feel comfortable with how deep inside the ear they need to be.
While you chew food you don't hear yourself as much as with other brands.
Also, you don't waste as much battery on your device, at low volume they sound louder than any headphones.
Believe you me, I did my research and you won't find better headphones for that price.

I have been using these headphones for over a year-I'm on my second pair. I use them daily for the gym. I am a bass head and love the sound they produce with House and Techno music. They also sound good with Rock. They fit perfectly in my ear and drown out all external noise, which I prefer. I just bought a pair of Bose TriPort IE headphones to play around with and these Koss $20 sparkplugs are louder and have stronger bass-they have the strongest bass out of all the headphones I've tested, including Sony earplugs. The only negative I've had is on the first pair after about 10 months the wire to the earphone piece got a little flimsy and I had to wiggle it a couple of times for the sound to stay. That's when I bought the 2nd pair. For the quality of sound though the price cann't be beat!Customer Review: Amazing, IF you make one quick and easy modification

The sound on these headphones is incredible, if you make one quick modification first. You will notice that every complaint about these is for the overpowering bass, and this is definitely true. But this problem is easily remedied, take a small piece of tape (i used regular clear scotch) and trim it to a circle and tape it to the back of the ear piece where the holes are. This corrects the problem and gives greattttt quality sound, better than any other pair of earbuds i have and well worth the 10 dollars.
To any who already have these, try this, you will be amazed!
In short, because of the price and the great sound and the isolating fit, I highly recommend these. With a little tweaking you will be blown away.

Graet headset 2nd time I purchased the "Sparkplug". Nice sound and isolation for the money. To me they sound as good or better than the $30.00 sony phones they replaced. The shipping time was really fast, US mail as I recall. I just wish these companies would all disclose S&H costs before the end of checkout. A padded envelope could have been sent for "3 postage stamps "tops". I understand they need to pay someone for the boxing and so on but I don't like to be baited by the lowest price on the web, only to find high ball S&H charges. Were not stupid were going to see the total!!!! You prices and service are as good or better as anyone elses in the subtotal category This appears to be a good company, they should refrain from those practices
