So far so good with these phones. They sound good with my mp3 players and computer. The volume control is great for drowning out unwanted outside noise. I initially thought the cable wouldn't last too long but it's good also.
UPDATE: After using these headphones for over a year now I still have no complaints about them. They sound great, the quality is excellent, and they're comfortable. I can wear them for several hours at a time without feeling like my head absorbed them.
I highly recommend these for anyone who needs a decent set of headphones for a reasonable price. You won't be disappointed.

I tell you, never in my life have i seen such good quality headphones for under twenty dollars. This headphones have such quality that is beyond great! Koss has nailed it! It can fit into any mp3/cd walkman device and whats best is that it comes with a volume control tab, so if you feel like blasting your music at a super high volume, you can! Although they can look a little bit dorky, they feel extremely comfortable when you put them on around your ears. You can of course adjust the fit of these wonderful headphones which also makes this product a better buy.
If you want great quality headphones that feel comfortable, buy these ones made buy Koss!

I recently purchased an ipod and wanted a not-in-ear *phones. Moreover, I needed something better than the default ipod headphones but not too expensive (< $40). From all the reviews I read, this seemed to be have the best bang for buck. Almost all its reviewers gave 5 stars to this product. I bought it without thinking twice and am really glad that I bought these. The sound is clean and crip, and there's enough bass to keep most people happy. The headphones fit me pretty well (I have medium sized head). The headphones also come with a volume control, which is very very handy.
If you are looking for headphones < $40, this is it!

I purchased a Radio Shack branded version of an earlier version of these headphones many years ago (actually bought 3 of them). The price back then was $25 on sale. Over the years (about 10 now) wear, tear, and abuse had left me with one pair of headphones. I decided to go looking for a new pair and was pleased to find these. I bought two pair (home and work) and the price is down to about $15 so it was a great deal all around. The sound is great, with good response range (and great bass) and the styling is very nice. They are light weight, comfortable, and have a volume control on the cord. I hihgly recommend these headphones.Customer Review: Awesome headphones at a great price

I have not owned a large number of headphones, but all of the ones I had before either sacrificed size to attain a usable weight, or were so heavy that I grew tired of using them quite quickly. These headphones I have owned and used since 11/2005 and they have been comfortable and have lasted without problem for the that time. The volume control is an added bonus that I would not have thought I would use nearly as much as I have. I have used them with my tv in my bedroom, my home stereo, and also my portable walkman, as well as my PDA to listen to MP3's. If I ever need another headset, I will get these or their replacement.
