Customer Review: Don't compare to the Bose soundDock

I'm very picky when it comes to the quality of sound. I have previously tested a Bose SoundDock and it's a wonderful overpriced machine, great sound and no distortions on high volume. The Klipsch cannot compete with the SoundDock because it's on a different league. This is a smaller unit with great sound on the low and high frequencies even at high volumes, but don't cross the line, it will start to distort a little if the volume is way to high. It's great for a bedroom but you can still place it on the living-room, but don't expect it to perform at a teenage party. For the great bass, the small size, the remote and the price, I'll give it a 9.5, I'm pleased with the product but not impressed.Customer Review: IPOD Klipsch sound system

I went over to Best Buy to test some systems out. With budget concerns I ruled out the Bose system, which sounds great, BTW. After listening adn commenting to the salesperson that none had any depth or bass response, he showed me this unit. Sold! But, not there. It sounds as close as can be to the Bose setup, but at a fraction of the cost. Found it here on Amazon on a clearance sale for an amzing price, half of Best Buy sale price.
Really enjoying the fullness of sound, so if you're looking for that, you've just found it.

This has been well reviewed. It is great for travel. Compact and light weight. AC powered.
I have been looking for a high quality travel audio system for 5 years. Have tried at least 8 different units and sent 4 back. This is better than anything packable except maybe the Bose models for iPod wich I compaired side by side by side and found little difference except this was half the price. Very good bass.
For travel I removed the heavy metal bottom plate and replaced it with rubber feet. Works great.

I received this as a gift and plugged it in within minutes. I love that there are only a few buttons to work with and was so amazed by the sound quality coming from something this compact. I was dancing for joy.
Because of its small size, I can take it from room to room increasing the volume, still obtaining high-quality sound.
The iGroove fits nicely on my nightstand, so I've set the alarm to it and wake up to excellent, crisp, clear sounding tunes. This is the perfect gift and I love it. I highly recommend it!

I was a little surprised when I opened the box to this sound system. It's no bigger that a loaf of bread. But after plugging my wife's ipod nano in and hearing the booming sound, I was very pleased. This little system packs a real punch. The bass output is incredible. It comes with adapters to fit the different ipod connectors and has an S-video output to view your ipod videos on a TV. I bought this because of the positive reviews and I can now agree with them. You will not be disappointed with this sound system.
