Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Klipsch iGroove SXT iPod Sound System (Black)Customer Review: Groovy Summary: 5 Stars
I had looked at a number of systems before receiving the iGroove as a christmas gift. If you like the bose systems sound and simplicity but don't want to pay the price, the iGroove is an excellent product for you. The sound signature is similar to the bose system's but with the added benefit of horn tweeters which gives the high end that sparkle without overburdening the woofers especially at medium loud volumes. The low end is very prominent and considering the tiny size of the woofers incredible. If you like very pronounced mid to low bass (like most of bose's products) this is the system for you. I find it rather soothing. Once again, considering the size and cost of the system I would say it compares very favorably to bose's system and offers similar if not superior sound quality at a reduced price. If you want even more bass, stick it in a corner and let the open ports utilize the effect to their advantage. You will be suprised at the amount of low end this little system can put out. I would by no means recommend this system in a large room at more than moderate listening volumes (more than 15'x15') but would confine it to a bedroom or office due to its size.
The Fit an finish is also excellent and it feels solid and well constructed. I am very happy with the quality of this product and for the price it is selling on amazon I would very highly recommend the iGroove sxt.
Customer Review: THIS ARE IT LOOK NO FURTHER Summary: 5 Stars
AMAZING SOUND at an AMAZING PRICE !!!!!!,
Small and Sleek, has a "Bass Push" you would expect of a BIG HiFi component in a very small good looking package. Excellent high's also.
Feel sorry for those who buy the Bose,at this price you could get a couple of Klipsch SXT's (one for the Shower, living room or Patio you cant beat that) SOUNDOCK owners EAT YOUR HEART OUT!!!!!!
Incredible Full and RICH SOUND !!!! Low Price for a High End Brand Product , as Ive read before only difference is that Klipsh is harder to pronunciate that some other brand names BUT EASIER TO PAY FOR.
Got it from Amazon for 119 $ + FREE SHIPPING
Klipsch only manufactureS speakers, so all their knowledge and technology is in this superb NEW little item.
It has a 3.5 mm stereo input so Im able to browse my Ipod collection WHILE PLAYING without having to get on my knees to get a song VERY SMART AND PRACTICAL, really love that
Also you can hook up your laptop (or any 3.5 stereo input) , have not tried the S-Video Output yet but it also sets this LITTLE MONSTER aside from the competition.
Today there are far too many Ipod speakers in the market (SOME COSTING MORE THAN THE IPOD ITSELF),but only few are really Brand Name speaker makers THIS IS ONE OF THEM.
Get it!!!!!! you wont regret it
Customer Review: forego anything else at the same price. Summary: 5 Stars
When searching for a ipod speaker system we tried out some models from Target, bought one and had to return it. Then we went to the Apple store to give some speakers a listen. After deciding that the Harmon Kardon Go +Play was the best sounding (at $350), and the B&W Zeppelin was the 2nd runner up (at $600) we decided on this non-descript, but great sounding system. We tested the D-A-N-C-E song from Justice and Bach's cello concerto in G, two totally different songs with quite different ranges and sound mastering styles. The cello concerto sounded so warm, like it was playing on my stereo system at home. We buy it. At home I try the soundtrack to Tous Les Matin du Monde- (deep bass, high and clear voices and lot s of vibrato)and have been so impressed- almost brought to tears. Everything came out so clear, almost analog sounding. I didn't know a thing about the speakers before we bought them, and after googling them, I find that they are award-winning. Here is what I loved hearing on it:Tous Les Matins du Monde/Dix Ans Apres
Customer Review: best sound and quality under $300 Summary: 5 Stars
I've had my Klipsch SXT for just over a year now and I have totally enjoyed its beautiful rich sound and high quality workmanship. The rich sound is very impressive and there is practically no loss or distortion, even at very high volume... very pleasant!). I think it is fairly comparable to the Bose system, but at half the price.
I am now shopping for a second set of iPod speakers for work (my new 160 GB iPod fits into the Klipsch SXT perfectly but is too big for the docking station of my cheaper speakers at work ie: Altec Lansing InMotion Folding speakers). So I've looked around for a very compact, yet premium-sounding, speaker setup for the workplace. After looking around online for a couple days I think I may just buy another set of Klipsch SXT's since I can't seem to find anything for under $300 that compares. The Klipsch iFi looks really nice too but is not as compact as I would like for the workplace. So for the money I still think the Klipsch SXT can't be beat.
Addon note: I ended up buying the Klipsch iFi and taking my old SXT to work. The iFi is amazing!!!! Also highly recomended!
Customer Review: Great Sound For The Money Summary: 5 Stars
Compared to Bose SoundDock, Polk, Denon, and anything else I could get my hands on. Spent 2.5 hours in a store doing side by sides. I am obsessive about trying to compare apples and apples. Klipsch won when compared to items in the same price range every time. Hands down. Also hung very very close with those way more expensive (besting quite a few like the Denon). Bose sounds *slightly* better, but not by much and not for more than $100 more. We own a Sonos S5 as well (which also sounds great) but it's lots more expensive and the Klipsch holds its own against that very well too. Rock, classical, - even Thunderstorm (relaxation) tracks sound great. Decent bass, excellent midrange and nice highs. Very balanced. Won't sound like tower speakers, but none of these tabletops do. Basically, this is the best item of it's kind out there for the money. The plastic could be a little less flimsy, but it's not ultra fragile either. Great balance of sound quality and price. Worth every penny.
Oh, and DEFINITELY charges the iPod Touch 2G. It's what I use with the unit and it charges great.
