I have a MacBook Pro, which doesn't include the SD card readers that most widows laptops have today. With living in a dorm most of the year and being an art major it's not very convenient to carry around more cords than I have to for my camera, so this little thing was perfect for me. I just plug in my camera's SD card, or my phone's microSD card and go.
I've had no problems and it always works fast. It's easy to just throw in my backpack and go.

I'm quite happy with this.
I only use it for SD and RS-MMC cards. It's nice that the SD slot is short enough that I can use my RS-MMC cards in it without an adapter.
The only complaint I have with it is that the doors are a little hard to open sometimes. I've solved this problem by removing the door on the side I usually use - it snapped of easily and is unbroken so I can snap it back on later if I change my mind.

This is a GREAT little device. It supports the high capacity (>2GB) cards, has dedicated slots for each of the 3 physical sizes with simple built-in ejectors and even a tether for the USB cap. The only improvement that I would like is lettering to identify each side of the case (I invariably open the 'wrong' half).
The MobileLite is far, far better than the usual miniSD & microSD adapters.

There are three separate sockets, micro, mini, and SD (SDHC); the nice thing is that it reads all three simultaneously as separate drives; it's very convenient to transfer between cards. Reads SDHC cards just fine (I have 8GB). A little bulky, it comes with a stubby flex USB adapter, but ignore strap on cap (useless, not necessary). Very convenient! The unit does block the adjacent USB port on my laptop, but the included cable takes care of that problem. I used this to download video from my camera's memory chip into my macbook each evening, and it was really a great convenience: light, small, and efficient. One note: to eject the card, you have to push on the plastic retainer/slide that sits on top of it.
