The Kingston 8GB Flash Drive is one useful accessory. As an amateur photographer I use it to download photos onto and then install only the best of the lot on my hard drive, thereby conserving space. They can also be used to store items (such as dictionaries) that are on CD-ROM. They are so much more convenient than DVD and CD storage. I aready own and use a CF Card for my digital camera from Kingston, so I trust the name. The 8 GB DataTraveler confirmed my trust in Kingston products; it functions flawlessly. I would, without hesitation, purchase another one of their DataTravelers (in fact, I already have) so this product gets my highest recommendation!Customer Review: Works Great!

I have plugged this into two Windows Vista and several Windows XP computers and this drive has performed great. It is definitely many times faster than several older drives I own. Vista used it for ReadyBoost, although my system already has 3GB of RAM so it didn't really boost anything as far as I could tell, but that's not the fault of this drive. Overall I rate this drive "Excellent"! The only ding I can give it is that its usb connector recedes into the shell (i.e. there is no cap/cover) but the edge is left exposed to the elements. I just have to make sure I don't drop it in snow or wet weather. So far so good.Customer Review: Awesome value for the money!

I have had no problems with this USB drive so far, and I use it practically every day. 8 GB is a lot of memory, and it will probably take me a while to fill it up, compared to my 2 GB (from a different maker) which seemed to last less than a year.
My only negative about this drive is that sometimes it is difficult to insert in USB ports on computers I use. It seems to be a tight fit and since it is a push-up connection, sometimes the port slides back into the casing. Other than that, a great buy! Especially for the cheap cheap price - other stores are still selling USB drives for $10/GB!

This Kingston 8 GB Data Traveler USB drive is excellent and works as advertised. I have used it to back up my hard drive easily without the hassle of changing discs with CD's or DVD's. Plus it can be used over and over again. The value for the money was great considering what I'll save in time and discs. I changed it from its original FAT32 file format to NTFS file format so windows could deal with files over 4 GB. This is easy to do. Note that Windows Ready Boost cannot be enabled for drives over 4 GB. Great product! I've been waiting for big USB drives like this to come down in price.Customer Review: Best flash drive I own!

This is the fourth flash drive I own and it is definitely the best. 8 GB offers plenty of storage space. The drive itself is compact, sleek and with the extendable/collapsable USB port, there is no worrying about losing the cap. The drive loads, saves, and ejects quickly. Also, a great advantage is that there are no unnecessary programs on the jump drive (like the Sandisk MicroCruzer) to waste space; there is omly 8 GB of memory waiting to be filled up! Kingston is reliable and this product doesn't disappoint; At $27 and change, this is a great product for a great price!
