This is an extremely handy gadget to have. I have tested the reader with micro SDHC, SD and Compact Flash cards and it works great. I have an XTi and earlier I used to transfer pictures from the Camera using the cable that came with it. Not anymore. Using this card saves battery on my Camera and most importantly copying pictures from the card via this reader is FAST!!!. The reason for giving this product a 5 Star rating is because of the following:
1. Light and fast. comes with an extension USB cable.
2. Works well with all Cards it claims to work it.
3. For the price, its absolutely worth it.
I would buy it again if I had to.

After years of having an internal multi-format card reader I was dreading needing to get an external one. I read up on a dozen different models and decided the price and good reviews of this one made it worth taking a chance. I am using it on an iMac with 3 card sizes: SD, CompactFlash, and MicroSD. All work great. Hooking it up was instant. The transfer rate is spectacular especially when not hooked up through a USB hub.
Do I wish the cards were easier to get back out? Sure, but they're only a fraction more awkward to get out than my internal card reader and no worse than any other external model. It's nice to be truly pleased with product.

I purchased Kingston 19-in-1 USB 2.0 Flash Memory Card Reader FCR-HS219/1 out of sheer frustration. Another multi-device for usb transfer failed to work with Windows 7; and I didn't want to open the box and install an internal reader. So, I found the product, liked the price, read a couple reviews, and ordered. Most of the time, it sits near my computer or nearby...but, it's good to know if-when I need to quickly and painlessly transfer data, photos, or clips - it's there. I recently ordered the Kingston FCR-HS219 19-1 Media Reader to move several photos from SD/SDHC cards I had to my computer. The device itself is extremely simple to use and setup. It requires no CDs, no software, just plug and play. Placing cards in the slots is relatively easy (I've only used the SD slot). The card does stick out of the reader, but Kingston has fixed that by allowing the inside of the reader to slide back into the plastic sleeve to protect the card from being broken or knocked out.
Easy to set up, easier to store, affordable, works great. I would recommend this to anyone needed a digital media transfer solution.
Customer Review: Stopped Working with less than 6 months of usage, but they replaced it

At first the product worked and did what it was supposed to do. Three or so months ago it started having problems transferring large numbers of images to my computer. Now, after 6 months of total usage, it does not work at all.
**UPDATE**
I contacted Kingston through their website and they replaced the product after I returned it to them by mail. The replacement works much better and the files transferred to the computer very quickly. I give them five stars because the customer service was excellent and I am a happy customer.
The cable is black and looks better than the silver cable in the images.
