I bought this drive to replace a Lexar Firefly that went through the wash, I really liked the Firefly, mostly for the size, but when I received the Kingston I was suprised by how fast it performed(I reformatted to NTFS)when I travel I download about 4 or 5 movies onto the drive, and I have yet to experience any problems. If I had a complaint, it would be for the size, the Firefly is about half the length.Customer Review: Great buy.

Been meaning to get one of these for years. But I could always move files around between my computers using my flash card and reader. But this was such a bargain. Sure enough, I needed to transfer files to my daughter's computer, didn't have my card reader, so used this. Just too much of a bargain to not have one of these around. You'll eventually use it. I run my own business as an Apple Macintosh Consultant, and these little flash drives are really useful. I have loaded all software updates for OS X on a few of these. I can now updates my clients software onsite without having to wait for large downloads. Small size and slick looking - not much more you can ask for! This is a good USB memory stick, and the second one I have from Kingston so far. Currently using it for school, and I have software loaded into it from portableapps dot com. Word Processors, utilities, etc. It is reliable and I would recommend Kingston memory to anyone. I have been giving these out as gifts. The price is right and it has a ton of storage space. It has been fast and reliable out of the box as it should be. I think the only possible downside would be the tiny end cap. It is pretty easy to lose. Other than that, it is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone looking to buy an 8gb usb drive.
