I got this product to go with my Toshiba laptop, you know, to back up important files in the unlikely event of a crash. I have used it a few times to save projects for school, and it always worked for me. I am not an expert on speed, or what makes a good Flash drive, but it seems fine to me. If you're a simple, everyday person like me, this product will do its job. 8GBs are alot, you are going to be able to store alot. I also got it for a very good price. I recently bought the 8GB Kingston Flash Drive from amazon. I had decided to upgrade to a 8GB from my previous 1GB from Kingston, which I'm still using. I was looking for a bigger storage flash drive that could store my word documents and music files, my 1GB was not enough. I've had previous experience with this brand so I chose to stick with it, as they are reliable. I would definitely recommend the Kingston 8GB to anyone and has a lot of space for your documents, pictures and music.Customer Review: nice having 8GB in my pocket

Other reviewers commented on slow transfer speed with smaller files. I have not noticed that. Often, I transfer files less than 100 kb. It may take a second, but if that is considered "too slow" then they are way too busy!!
I have had no trouble with this Flash Drive and I highly recommend it. Every computer I have plugged it in to has immediately recognized it and assigned it a drive letter.
Great value for the money.....8 GB for less than $20 is a steal in my book!!

What can I say? I bought 4 of these in the last 2 months and I'm buying another in the next couple weeks. I have one of these on my digital picture frame. This held so many pictures and none of the 4 that I purchased have given me the least bit of trouble. I have been scanning old photos and I use my little flash drive to take photos to my sister's house. I like it because it's easier to transfer photos to her digital picture frame. As you guys know there's a lot of memories now in days. Memories for laptops, desktops, cameras, etc. But Mastercard didn't make a mistake saying there's certain things that are priceless, for example your information (Data), the ability of being able to transport your work anywhere is definetly priceless. this memory can give you that thing you're looking for, trust me 8GB in the smaller pocket you may have is a lot. Overall great item, great use.
