The Kingston Flashdrive is indestructible! I've literally broken the plastic casing twice sinice I bought the drive about 2 years ago. The first time the plastic case fell apart after my computer landed on its side with the Kingston Flashdrive still inserted in. I just Duct Taped it back together. The second time I put my laptop in a carrying bag, but forgot to take the Kingston Flashdrive out. The USB port was too bent, and I had to manhandle the chip inside to fit it back into the case. In both cases, my data were always there. Never lost! Amazing. Quite a durable little thing. Thank you Kingston!Customer Review: Cheap, reliable, and HUGE!

I picked up one of these for work and it is impressive to say the least. Having 8 GB of storage in a flash drive the width of my little finger is truly amazing. I have been using this for a few months now, moving large image and media files from one computer to another and it has performed flawlessly throughout that time. This is the highest capacity flash drive I have ever used and it is also one of the smallest in size. I am especially pleased with the speed and reliability of this product. I've purchased many Kingston flash drives, and I've only ever had one DOA (though they issued an RMA promptly - good service). It was a 2GB, and I worried about the quality of their higher-capacity drives after that. However, the price on this 8GB was good, so I took the plunge and bought two. I have not been disappointed with either one! In fact, the write speed is about twice what I usually see on my 1GB versions of this drive! Highly recommended, especially to those who don't want to bother with U3 or need ReadyBoost. This drive is a solid performer.Customer Review: Works Fine

This unit performs well, loading accurately and quickly without a lot of undesired "bonuses" like "game" software.
The cap keeps dust out of the docking orifice and can be snapped onto the opposite end, for safe-keeping, while the device is loaded. I'm glad Kingston has retained this design feature while playing with color schemes.
If you do not want to move the cap to the back end, you can use the loop to connect to a key chain or a clip. Smart design assures the longevity of the unit in your possession.

This was the first time I had ever bought anything online through Amazon.com, and I would say it was the best move I ever made. The Kingston Data Traveler 8 GB USB flash drive was not only in perfect condition when it arrived, but has come in extremely handy for my computer class homework. The best part was that it arrived so quickly at my home address that I didn't have to worry about whether or not I would have to buy one before I started my classes. Thank you very much.
