It's a memory card and it does indeed remember stuff. No problems with this card at all. One nice thing compared to a few other cards we have is that the lock switch stays in place (others slip to the "lock" position while inserting into the device, which can be irritating).Customer Review: Basic Card

I have taken pictures and long movies with this card, no lack of memory space to date. I do download my images/movies frequently on my card reader, but still think for general use this is plenty. I use these for a photo frame to keep the pictures current. They work great and I've not experienced any problems with them. The "Kingston 1 GB Secure Digital Flash Card" is just a fantastic value for the money! We bought 4 of these for several different cameras and have taken hundreds of pictures with no issues to report at all.
This is HIGHLY recommended for the price!
