Most people won't need a 1GB SD Card for their Kindle (or any SD card at all), but at this price, overkill is fine!! It worked perfectly in my Kindle as soon as I inserted it in the slot. No need to spend more than $6 for an SD card for the Kindle.
The "Complete Works of Shakespeare" take up 2.9MB in MOBI format, so you should be able to store 353 very large books on this disk in addition to what can be stored in Kindle memory. The average ebook is about 500KB, so you can store up to 2000 files.
Perfect solution.

Not had a single problem using these cards! I purchased three for use in my 8mp camera and they work fine. I get 290 pictures using the highest pixel rate. Lock works fine. Downloading from these is okay. Using over and over, I have never had any problems. What more could one ask for? I have had these cards and used extensively for over a year!
There are more expensive products out there, but why? I do not reccomend any Sandisk products though as I have had problems with those in the past. Just FYI

Eng: I'm using it a Mustek DV3000 camera and on a HP iPAQ rx3115. Good performance, a big size and just plug and play. It's a very small memory and a big and great capacity. I'm out of the USA, but I have a shipping address in Miami. The Delivering time was very fast y reliable.

My initial shipment of this card was defective and I was obtaining a lot of errors reading the data on it. I submitted an exchange request to Amazon and they promptly provided me return shipping back to them of the defective item and at the same time shipped me a new replacement. I now have no issues with the replacement card and it works well. More importantly, it was a pleasure doing business with Amazon knowing that I'm protected as a consumer by a company that treats customers right.Customer Review: Great Card... Recently purchased an HP Photosmart Digital Camera. Onboard memory only allowed me to take six pics. Purchased and loaded this Kingston 1GB and now I'm ready for 480+ more. Super Great price for a 1GB Card. Wondered when hesitating on purchasing camera if I wanted to spend $40-$60 for other 1GB SD cards, but this one does everything the competition does for a lot less $$$$.
So impressed, I ordered another! You can't go wrong on this one!
