If you are looking for the Kingston Data Traveler with SECURITY SOFTWARE - DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! I assumed since it had the EXACT SAME NAME as my old drive "DataTraveler", it was the EXACT SAME PRODUCT! And my old drive had the security software on it. Wouldn't you assume the same thing? Same name = Same product? Called tech support & they said I can't even install the software on the new drive! So now I have to go through the headaches of sending it back!
FYI - I have owned a Kingston DataTraveler 4GB for about a year. I have been having problems with the files corrupting on the drive and disappearing, so I decided it was time to get a new drive. After this disappearing act (i.e. NO SECURITY SOFTWARE) I'm assuming that my disappearing files are their fault as well. I mean if the company isn't smart enough to change the name of their product, how can I expect they are smart enough to create a good product? I will not only NOT be buying future products from Kingston, I will not be speaking highly of the company in my social networks.
NO TWITTER LISTING - I noticed Kingston isn't listed on Twitter, could it be that they are too afraid to face the music? Don't worry Kingston, we're still tweeting the negatives about you, I saw many disgruntled tweets when I added mine to the list.
NOTE TO MARKETING: If it's not the same product CHANGE THE PRODUCT NAME!!!!!
