Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Kingston DataTraveler 101 - 16 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive DT101C/16GB (Cyan)Customer Review: Happy with the product Summary: 5 Stars
This product has worked fine for me.
The appearance was as pictured, and the 2 different computers that I used it on had no problems with it's software.
Complaints? None, only cosmetic observations.
1) The rotating cover (gunmetal color) always looks smudged from my fingers.
2) The cover has two small holes in it to accomodate some sort of a clip (for lanyard or keychain). The design is sleek, but hard to attach anything to it.
Customer Review: Great little bugger Summary: 5 Stars
You can't beat the price of 25 bucks on a 16gb usb flash, and this thing operates just dandy.
It is relatively fast in a matter of words. Although just saying you are probably better off buying
a portable usb hard drive because you get a lot more space. they fit in a pocket and are about the size
of an ipod touch just a bit thicker. If space isn't a big deal for you than go with this flash drive it can fit on your key chain
Customer Review: Fits well in a Fit Summary: 5 Stars
This drive serves as the recording repository for our Honda Fit's audio system. The car has over 300 albums copied from iTunes. Imagine managing 300 CDs on trips! Much cheaper than a dedicated iPod for the car, though we do lose the iPod's Playlist capability. Folders are sufficient for us, especially when sorted into groups by the freeware Drivesort utility in Windows XP.
Works well, never any data errors or glitches.
Customer Review: great USB flash drive without annoying features Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this flash drive to replace a SanDisk 16GB flash drive that I had lost. I have to say, I really prefer this one to the SanDisk, because it doesn't have that annoying U3 program that you can't get rid of. It just plugs in, turns on (has a little green light telling you when it's on/working), and then just unplug it when done. Beautifully simple.
Customer Review: Kingston Data Traveler 101 Summary: 5 Stars
The unit arrived on time, and works as advertised... It now serves as the backup memory for all my photos and non-system software. The second unit serves as a backup to the backup... Losing a hard drive and tons of data makes one become overly cautious...
I'm a happy camper...
