Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Kingston 4 GB Class 4 SDHC Flash Memory Card SD4/4GBCustomer Review: Out Performs Summary: 5 Stars
The title Out Performs was given because though I'm a Kingston fan and have never had anything but good experiences with Kingston products, this product seems exceptional. Here's why: I purchased a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 camera and the online description mentioned that a Class 4 Flash Memory Card is required for this camera. When I received the camera and Class 4 card, I noticed that the camera manual mentioned that a Class 6 card (or above) is required for the Panasonic camera. Nevertheless, the Kingston Class 4 card works in the camera despite the requirement. So the Kingston card sort of goes above and beyond. Thank you.
Customer Review: Works as expected Summary: 5 Stars
There isn't a whole lot to say about this card. I bought it for my point-and-shoot camera. It works in my laptop's reader and my desktop's reader without problems. I looked at other reviews, and people complain about speed. I haven't had an issue with this, but I'm not a professional photographer. I know it doesn't take more than a few seconds to save an 8 MP picture to the card, and I can't think of many scenarios where you would need a speed faster than that. However, if such a case applies to you, consider heeding other reviewers' warnings about speed. Otherwise, this card is a good deal at the time of my review.
Customer Review: slow (sort of) and steady Summary: 5 Stars
This isn't the fastest card you can buy but it holds a lot, it's reliable, and it's cheap. That was more important to me than speed. You never know when you're going to get a great shot and when you do, you want it to be saved properly!
As far as speed goes, it's not that it's slow; it's just not the fastest. If you're a casual user like I am and just looking to use it in a basic camera or video game system, you won't have any problems. Everything I have gotten from this company has been reliable and this card is no exception. I have a couple of them and would get another, if needed.
Customer Review: Kingston Rocks Summary: 5 Stars
This is not my first Kingston product. I bought this because I once had a CF card that went bad. I contacted Kingston and returned the defective product to them. They wrote back and said the unit was indeed defective and they replaced it immediately. The only thing about this item, and this has nothing to do with the fact that it is made by Kingston, is that it is HC format and may not work in some devices. I had to replace the old card reader that I use in order to upload images to my PC. But the card works great in my new digital camera, which is why I got it. I trust all my memory needs to Kingston.
Customer Review: As good as any. Summary: 5 Stars
In the vast world of memory storage chips this is as good as any. Found this item on Amazon and the price was fair for a 4GB chip. Used it in my digital camers and it works fine. Holds a lot of data and you are unlikely to fill it up unless you take a lot of pictures and never delete any of them. I always take a look at mine and delete the "ify" ones I don't want to print. That is why it never gets filled up. Can't go wrong with this item as Kingston has been making memory chips, with great reliability, for computers as well as cameras. Can reccomend to anyone.
