Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Kingston DataTraveler 150 - 32 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive DT150/32GB (Orange/Black)

Customer Review: Large Drive and Fairly Fast
Summary: 5 Stars

I have several drives with 4GB to 16GB. The problem was I had to copy different files onto different drives. I needed a larger Flash Drive to be able to copy virtually all my files on just one drive and this one fit the bill.

Aside from holding nearly all your files, it is also fairly fast. I copied 5GB of files in just 12 minutes. There may be faster drives, but considering the 32GB and low price, this one is well worth considering.

Customer Review: VERY NICE DRIVE
Summary: 5 Stars

I got 16.6 MB/sec transferring 23GB of audiobook files to the datatraveler 150. I'm using an iMac 27" and the datatraveler is connected to a USB hub. The speed is great. For those who get low transfer rates, it appears to me that something else is slowing you down, not this device. I've only had it for a week so I can't comment on durability. However, it looks and feels like a quality product. I highly recommend it.

Customer Review: Kingston DaveTraveler 32 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive
Summary: 5 Stars

I chose this flash drive because of the positive reviews, and I have not been disappointed. I formatted it for Macintosh and have used it for some time for my portable e-mail and calendar programs, and to transport files back and forth between home and work. It's reliable and is about as fast as other USB drives I've used: a bit slower than USB hard drives, but much more rugged. I give this unit five stars.

Customer Review: Huge and Ugly
Summary: 5 Stars

I picked this up a few months ago and it has performed flawlessly since day one.

I keep a few encrypted partitions on it for work files and it has never failed me.

It is durable and hangs from my belt with my proximity card and have flown with it about a dozen times.

My only complaint is that it's ugly. If you can live with that, it's totally worth buying.

Customer Review: Met all expectations
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this flash drive to hold all my music. I recently bought a MINI Clubman, which has a USB port connected to the stereo, and this drive was much cheaper than an iPod. The Clubman recognizes playlists, and will even play the entire collection in random order! Very, very cool. My only gripe is that the color in the add suggests a bright orange, but in actuality it's a rather ugly salmon.
