Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Kidz Gear Wired Headphones For Kids

Customer Review: Great product and great support
Summary: 5 Stars

2 of my kids have these to use with the DVD player in our car. My daughter also uses these headphones for her iPod. They fit well and they love then. It's great that they have the ability to control the volume on their own with the integrated volume control (though they can't make it any louder than what you set the DVD player's volume to.

My son's pair didn't have sound in the one ear. I contacted the company and they had a replacement pair (along with some free accessories) sent out the next day!!! The replacement pair works quite well. Honestly, the build quality doesn't quite up to the abuse that kids will give these. **However**, the company really stands behind these and will send out a replacement immediately.

Customer Review: Kids headphones
Summary: 5 Stars

We have just ordered our third pair of these headphones since the first two pairs we purchased for our 3 year and 1 year old granddaughters were taken over by our 9 and 8 year old grandsons for use with a DVD player in our vehicle. As an adult, I can expand these enough to fit my head, but of course the ear pieces are too small to completely cover my ears which is why we purchased them. The boys think they are great and they seem to fit them just fine. The 3 year old prefers them to the "in-your-ear" types. Now we're purchasing her a pair to keep at home for her MP-3 player. The sound is good and the best feature is the volume control that is on the cord for toddlers. They will not go too loud, but have plenty of volume.

Customer Review: Spectacularly sized for smaller noggins!
Summary: 5 Stars

For many years my kids have had to deal with oversized headphones (or ear pieces that do not fit their small ears) on our long cross-country car rides when we visit family. I ordered 2 different childrens headphones, and these are much better than the other brand I got. They are smaller and the earphones themselves are bigger so they fit more snugly around the ear )rather than on top of the ear.) the sound quality is fine -- I'm not a sound expert, Dora still sounds like Dora... but there's nothing wrong with the sound. I wish they'd made the wires a bit thicker because my kids can be tough on stuff -- and I have to keep on them about pinching the wires. But overall, I still give them 5 stars.

Customer Review: Headphones for 15 Month Old
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased these headphones for my 15 month old for plane trips since we travel quite a bit. They work perfectly for him to watch videos on my Ipod Nano, and he actually leaves them on! They're soft for his little ears, and they adjust to fit him perfectly. I also appreciate the volume control that prevents the sound from getting too loud (although I just adjust the sound on the ipod, and lock it so my toddler can't adjust the volume).

I would highly recommend these headphones to anyone looking for something to fit a young child. As far as durability goes, they have held together well, however, I've only had them for a couple of months, so I don't know the long-term durability.

Customer Review: Finally, a set for under 5
Summary: 5 Stars

This set is wonderful--best I've seen for little heads. It really does fit 2 year-olds (unlike most other "kid" headphones), and my 5 year-old loves them, as well (we are going to order a second pair). They are sturdy and comfortable, with padding around the ears. They could also fit older children until their ears started being closer to adult size (the padding is the only thing stopping these for working for an adult since the padding doesn't sit around the ear for adults, but ON parts of the ear--the headphones themselves are plenty big enough when you adjust them). Definitely worth $15-20 to not have headphones for trips that fall off or have to be fiddled with every 2 minutes.
