Very effective inside a plane comparing to the other noise cancelling headphone I have. Sound is ok for what it does. However, in a moving vehicle, it actually distorts the music which is a surprise. My other noise-cancelling headphone does not do that. It appears to have a relative long lag time in creating the opposite noise-cancelling wave. By the time the opposite wave applies to the music, the intruding noise is over. Otherwise, no complains.Customer Review: One of the best purchases I made

I love these. I never had noise cancelling headphones before so I assume Bose is the best but these will do nicely thank you and so light on my head, such a comfort. I hear the music so well and it does block out a lot of noise.
Wearing them everywhere, even fell asleep with them on. It feels sometimes like I have nothing on my head. Buy these, you won't be disappointed.

I use these when mowing a field. They cancel all the noise from a big tractor and a six foot mower. I can't hear anything but my music, and the price tag is unbeatable! Would've givin 5 stars, but sound could be just a little sharper, for my taste. Still you can't beat theses headphones. Great value.Customer Review: No specifications re product

what is the decibel range? What is the distortion rate? What is the frequency range? I'm mostly satisfied with the perfomance of these headphones. I wish they could mute the screaming kids from outside but I can't have everything I guess.
